I noticed that the pin wheel stops until the table sets up a new set of pins. Then the wheel starts to resume with sending pins up to the top.

It is because if it keeps moving, there’s gonna be too much pins and there will be a pile up of pins. Hope that helps.

Yes new pins are needed but honestly I kinda like the old worn down pins. It kinda gives the ol' retro vibe, And these pins have 'experienced' a lot which makes it more nostalgic

I didn't know that the ball was only let through if the setting table was going down. Quite clever so no pins will ever get in the ball return

Yeah… sometimes it sucks when the kids bowl with the 6 pound balls because they might not even fall off the deck and then when the sweep pushes it off sometimes it doesn’t get to the door in time

@@Joethepro181 Oh yes i forgot about that aspect of things. I guess there’s no perfect solution then. I’ve seen pins end up in the ball return on A2s, GSXs and 82-70s. Although the 82-70s just caused no balls to return since they got stuck. In the GSX alley, the pin went all the way into the actual ball return rack before getting stuck lol

@@ThinkCleverAndSmart The AMF 82-90 I bowl has a little bit problem on the transport band cause it cannot transport the ball accurately to the gate and it cause balls stuck behind the gate

Do u ever plan on replacing the side panels they look original and I would think they don’t send messengers as well as the new metal side walls that newer lanes have do

Hi! We are thinking about doing that. They are the original ones. I’m definitely going to be going through and tacking them up so they’re tight against the walls… thank you for the comment!

That front roller sounds terrible. Yes I grew up around 30s and only recently (2021) stopped messing with them (a 60 year old business my family owned ended). First noticed it @03:08... but then again, if it is working, screw pulling it. Thinking about it truly the front roller is probably the least PITA thing to change in that area of the machine. The bounce plate, the rear roller, the carpet itself, yeah screw that.
