You should try this. Roll one die and whatever number comes up that's the arrow you have to play that frame. To make it a little more fair you could throw any ball you want.

Last night in open bowling I left a stone 4-7-9 split. I would've bet the farm it was going to be a beautiful strike ball. Blew 7 pins outta there so fast and then the weirdest leave ever in my 48 years of bowling. As a lefty I'm wondering if Packy has ever left a pocket 6-8-10 ? Sidenote: I was bowling on two lanes like you do in league. I had a turkey at the time and with the non- conversion of the split I still had a 212 game.
