I'm a Texas A&M alumnus and huge Aggie fan, but it should have been 26-23 Bowling Green. The kick was no good for the Aggies and that was a touchdown, but the ball was kicked out of his hands on the ground. Bowling Green is a legit team

It wasn’t a catch by rule, which is why the receiver didn’t argue nor did BG challenge. That FG looks pretty odd, though I can’t remember the exact rules for if it goes over the top of the post, I think there’s a lot more room for error. Even if you take away that, we had two minutes to get down the field and in FG range to win. A lot of ifs and iffy calls to call it lost

@@McFarkleI don’t think it went over top of the post, I think when they play it in slow mo you can see the ball passes in front of the post, no good. I agree with you about the touchdown catch though, you have to complete the process of the catch, and I get that when he went to the ground he had it, he didn’t complete the process of the catch and lost it at the last second. Those two drives at the end where BG was stopped likely win the game for A&M anyway, 23-20 TAMU

@@joncross8483 Yeah, I’m not going to stand too hard on the FG either way. I don’t think there’s a camera angle that could prove both ways, but it would have had to have been hooking pretty hard to both be good and strike the net where it did. Not sure what the refs saw there to call it good, or if it was truly a guess. If that was called the other way, BG probably goes for it on 4th down to try for the TD. But even if they did get a TD there (which is a massive if), we still would’ve had 2 minutes to get into FG range and end the game that way. Could have made the game much uglier at the end, but I still think we win more than 90% of the time there. I do think the refs need to be questioned about the FG, and held accountable if necessary, but it wasn’t enough to call the game stolen.

As a Bowling Green student and fan, I’m happy we were able to make both games at Penn State and Texas A&M competitive. After last season, I thought we would still be a good team, but not good enough to make either game competitive. Boy was I wrong. If BG can keep it close at 2 of the 4 largest college football stadiums in the country, then we should have no problem with any of the MAC schools (except for Toledo and maybe Northern Illinois). Let’s go Falcons!

I refer to an athlete like him as a “football player” because he’s got speed, good size, accurate, good arm and very aware of where he’s at in the pocket and on the field. Kid has “game” for sure. Score should’ve been 23-23 going into OT. The Aggie fg was actually no good and had BG made their chip shot fg it would’ve been tied up. The BG receiver would’ve also had a TD had he held onto that football. Aggies lucky to steal this win, because they weren’t the better team.
