She became head coach at Notre Dame in 1987 and built the Irish into a national powerhouse. She led the Irish to nine Final Fours, seven championship game appearances, and two national championships in 2001 and 2018. Truly a legend. Thanks for making aware of this fitting tribute.

Of course you then have to account for camera angle and his bodies lean. This puts his whole left shoulder pad across the line. The ball was in his right hand. He was spotted almost perfectly. They were only off by a few inches in either direction which is not a bad spot. They could have very well gave him extra yardage.

I didn't hear nearly as often from non-ND fans that "oh, TAMU isn't very good, ND will probably win". It was "oh, ND won't play well against the SEC". It was the same against LSU, S Carolina, I heard people say that about VANDY. ND has TAMU I think next year or the following, at home. Then they have a home and home with Arkansas, then a home and home with Alabama. For sure Arkansas is near the bottom of the SEC, but people are gonna say the same thing before the game "oh it's the SEC, ND is gonna get smoked". For sure those comments when it comes to Alabama are legit. I just think ND can at least hang with most of the SEC. Mind you, the SEC has 16 teams, and I'm saying they can comfortably beat 8-16, have good games with 5-7, lose but probably keep it close with 3-4, and EXTREMELY small chance with 1-2.

You can also pencil them in to lose in the playoffs too. Having an easy schedule on the way to the playoffs is usually a formula for you to lose against a more battle tested team. But I guess for some teams, just making the playoffs is a win 😂
