Can you explain why you use a different stance in this shot than your more straight-on stance we usually see?

Most likely to help project the ball right, as he's playing a open angle so he's opening his body up to get the ball right consistently

Thank you, @sekiroenjoyer I'm hoping also for a direct reply from Brady, since it was his shift and I'm curious of his reasoning. He went to a stance similar to mine when I bowl candlepin, but I've never used it for 10-pin.

yup, exactly what @sekiroenjoyer said- the pattern was so flat, and after so many games, there was no hold, so I'm really trying to get it out to the right. Even then, with a shiny, high RG ball, it didn't last long.

@BowlingBrady300 thank you. I'd have so much to relearn if I ever got serious about bowling again. All we had were flat patterns, and getting a hook as serious as what you're able to do was only a dream for most of us. It's almost a different game. I recently found an older alley that still had wooden lanes, it felt like going home after being away for a long time.
