It was 1996, Mall of America in Bloomington MN, I was witness to pros playing inside the Great American Sports Bar. Psh it was unreal. Dudes were incredible and even used their feet just f’in around and scored at will on challengers. They told me they were there for a tournament.

I started playing food in high school, 70-74. Continued throughout my university years 74-78. "Tournament Soccer" brand tables were common then and they supported o professional players tour. My play level got good enough to keep me in free beers pretty regularly. Played a local tournaments for a few years and did ok. I Had so much fun. This brought back many great memories. I grew up playing this game in Greece but the table was quite different. The base was from cork, the players were wooden and the table was also wider. My uncle who was the best player I've ever watched could hit the ball so hard that it entered from one side and came back from the other.
