People here criticize me for supporting my son. I just want to know; what dad doesn’t support his son and does not cheer his son in such a big accomplishment. Sorry if I hurt anyone; but I’m a proud dad. I didn’t do anything wrong. My son is a humble kid and a member of the PR National Team. He is a good sportsman and respected Mastroianni even doe he didn’t salute my son when he lost. Someone had to win and it was my son. I even saw a comment that someone hated me and didn’t wanted me to go back to USA, what a stupid, ignorant and shameful comment. Nobody knows the sacrifices we have to go through to participate in JG. This year; I haven’t practiced my son; because I was activated to help Puerto Rico during the hurricane Maria disaster. I’m in the military with over 24 years of service. It’s good to protect the country (USA); but is not good to cheer for my son? Respect is not given; respect is earned and before someone starts making stupid and ignorant comments, I invite you to be where I have been and to put yourself in my boots. I bet that no one would last a day. The Army career is not a joke, so before you talk, get to know me and my family.

Aww man I feel bad for the little tubby guy. I was rooting for him, especially after seeing Edgar kind of choke and let his emotions ruin his first game. Either way, both of those kids are definitely talented. When I was 12 my season high average was only 150 and probably only shot like 10 200 games per year. I live in Orange County, CA and bowling, unfortunately, really isn't that popular out here. So there's not a lot of proper coaching or support. Still it was fun they would send us out to the Pepsi and YABA tournaments and made some good friends. Wish I stuck with it though. Just got back into it about a year ago and am averaging 190 on house. On sport I suck balls. In our practice league I'm at 150 and my games vary from 115 to 200. It definitely showed me that I have a lot to work on

i agree with Peteeboy2011. I would act the same way as that father having your 12 year old child win a national championship is awesome. The mother was rude and a poor sport bc her kid did not win she was talking crap to the winning parents bc they were celebrating their child's win. Get over it your kid is 12 this is why kids act the way they do now days. Not everyone can win.

its this age of bowling if your revs and speed dont match or u dont have the right ball in your hands you are not going to score point blank
@AussieLeBrown6 жыл бұрын
I KNOW WHO YOU ARE revs and speed don't matter. I can bowl a ball at 200 revs 20 mph and get a strike. I can bowl a ball at 480 revs and 15 and get a strike. It's all about release, placement and technique

RcVater2 wtf is a flatter pattern... you mean a pro pattern? And no its not a house patter. You won't see any finals above age 10 use house patterns.
@Samwellum6 жыл бұрын
Left4 Games flat pattern meaning that there is almost an equal amount of oil on each spot of the lane leading to a dry part of the lane
@Samwellum6 жыл бұрын
Left4 Games basically same concentration of oil on the lane. It forces bowlers to slow down and be really accurate.

+thegdoat1 there's a considerable difference between cheering for his son and rubbing the victory in the other kid's face. especially for someone who has international experience as the father does, he should know better than bellowing in the competitors ear.
