Different bowlers have different pre shot routines. I remember that being a part of at least 1 pro back in the 80s or 90s. Never hurts to keep your sliding sole clean.

@@aidenshippy3940 You are right. I will stop watching entire two-handed telecasts. Just because it is the future does not mean it is a good thing. There are pros and cons for two handed which leads to more cons than pros. There is no sophistication for two-handed bowling. Belmo started the trend and due to his success, people jumped the band wagon blindly thinking they will have better results and success with two-handed. These people don't know any better and are followers. Just because someone does it does not mean you should follow.

I don’t usually comment on videos but reading stuff like this is ridiculous. Isn’t the point of game is to knock all of the pins down? I’ve only been bowling for a few years and I love seeing the different styles. I am a one handed no thumb bowler.. two handed, one handed,you still have to put in the work to be a high level bowler. I wish people would just stop hating

It's in awkward style for sure and turning this great sport a joke anymore. I halfway lost interest watching '23 US Open because three bowlers on that show throws two-handed. Glad EJ Tackett won though in spite of it being a two-handed show.
