Possibly I missed it. Please compare this to Felix Dexter's appearance of several years earlier. Riginald D here appears almost entirely oblivious to the wit going on around him (indeed, even over his head) until it becomes time for him to make a speech about racism, while Dexter is witty from start to finish, parrying and thrusting with the both the brilliant Angus Deayton and equally witty Clive Anderson to at least a draw. Or Richard Blackwood, if you pefer in season 20, episode 1. Reginald D, by comparison, is dreary, at best.

@Padraigp Жыл бұрын
You can add bastard before any word. I don't want a bastard cup of tea. Or theres a real bastard rain coming down outside. That sort of thing. But its not a phrase to say I dont have a bastard clue particularly. Im sure its been said before but its not a particular phrase. Its just like saying i dont have a fucking clue or a cunting clue or whatever.

Still find it odd that U.S. and England, 2 of the most diverse countries in the world, are still considered the most racist.
@DennisMoore6642 жыл бұрын
Maybe it's that very diversity that helps keep those racial divisions going. And while it might not be racism specifically, there is plenty bigotry and intolerance of all sorts in most every country except New Zealand and few others and even that is fairly recent historical development. Also, when a country is a more homogenous place racially, the people that live there are going to find other criteria like religion or political affiliation or the ever popular urban/rural animosity to divide each other up and discriminate against one another. We're such an odd species.
@matthiasknutzen60612 жыл бұрын
Just because they are diverse doesn't mean there's no problems with racism. Don't even know if they are considered the most racist, Hungary, Poland, Belarus, Brasil, Argentina i would assume are much more racist.
@itsokay79892 жыл бұрын
How can you find that odd? The history of both countries (which you can read for free on the internet) is deeply grounded in racism. One of them went out to commit atrocities, the other shipped them home.

@@NeilJ894 Dickish reply but okay -- no, not really. I don't live there so I have a foreigner's perspective on the place. From what I'd read though, it sounded like there had been a real attempt to deal with its colonial past and build a more equitable country for everyone over the past few decades. But in the months since I wrote my post that triggered you're reply today I've learned how New Zealand's post-racist reputation is largely bullshit and there are indeed still plenty of racial problems (among others) that people there can't or won't get past.
