Today we are checking out an awesome Super Mario Fan Game called "New Super Bowser World"! In this game, Mario and Luigi kidnap Bowser Jr. and so you play as Bowser trying to save your son! That's right Bowser is the GOOD GUY in this game!

Two things: the Queen Bomb was NOT a meat shield. A meat shield is a relatively weak enemy that blocks the fire from a more powerful enemy. An example would be a bunch of Hell Knights blocking rockets from a Cyberdemon in Doom II. 2) Fat people float better than skinny people, true, but muscly people who are girthy but with low body-fat percentage float way less well than fat people. Bowser's big but not fat, so he should sink. Also, IRL, most people are buoyant enough to float with their mouths above water (even in fresh water) without moving their arms or legs. Just lean back and relax.

So basically, the author saw the Bowser levels from Thousand Year Door and decided to make a whole game out of those mechanics. Honestly, its surprising it took this long for someone to do that.

@Scripto48 "Security Issues" was an excuse to push alternatives. Flash was disliked by many in executive board rooms for being cheap and very easy to get started with - why have a nearly-free product around when you can be sold a $60, $80, $200+ "game maker" piece of software? Not to mention any new accessories you might need.. Flash was killed out of greed, nothing more.

ONE problem…In the original game the blocks were Toads turned into blocks by koopa magic, that give Mario powerups…so who got turned into blocks that are giving Bowser powerups?…did the bros. somehow learn koopa magic??

Man, it really gets under my skin every time Dave starts complimenting or dancing to music I can't hear. If you keep your game volume way down because you're worried about music making your voice harder to understand, ask your doctor about sidechain compression.
