Is there anywhere (Besides just going on google) that one could find these hacks pre-patched? I've never had luck patching these myself :(

Uploading patched hacks is illegal, so I doubt you'll find any pre-patched hacks. How are you trying to patch them? Renaming the .smc to the same name as the .ips or using LunarIPS always works for me.

I should mention I always tried to play with ZSNES and I can tell you use SNES9X it looks like. My usual patching method was Lunar IPS but whenever I tried to run the rom, it would either load the Nintendo logo segment then black screen. Sometimes the rom ran but then issues would happen like it wouldn't load things or whatever. I eventually started trying to use a program called SNESTool to remove the header myself and apply the patch and it worked more often than Lunar IPS but still several hacks didn't work. I didn't try renaming them, not sure if that's where I got it wrong.

there is a trick where you wont take damage if you are floating with mario's cape, which is why he seems to not be taking damage
