I already have an ebike weighing in at 78 pounds. I am looking to get a Quiet Kat. I'm a woman who is 5'4" and can lift my ebike to load onto a thule bike rack. I load it out for several day rides and these ebikes pull their own weight for sure. My bike is not a mid drive. That is why I am looking at the quiet Kat. A lot more torque to get up very steep hills a lot easier than a rear hub drive motor. Thanks for the great video!
@t268035 жыл бұрын
Why would the weight matter to all these people responding negative. The thing pulls it's own weight. Who cares if it's 200 lbs as long as your not doing the work. Also I have another brand and I am 260 lbs and pull my handicap son into the woods and out a mile each way. No issues. My buddy pulled his buck out with his bike three miles 2oo lbs deer. I can ride mine 19 miles without any peddling at all. If I peddle i can hit 40 miles on a charge. If you don't like stuff like this don't buy it, but stupid uninformed comments are just that, stupid and uninformed.
@raylau76565 жыл бұрын
Exactly, my eBike weighs 80lbs and costs $4000. Most of the people commenting here don't realize that you can spend $5000 easily on a custom bike even without a motor. My eBike has 4 batteries, range is over 100km per charge in the city and I get 1/2 of that while riding off road, my fat bike trailer holds 150lbs and I can attach my rifle to the bike. Fat Bike hunting is getting more popular here in Canada, the Conservation Officers who patrol the bush are in some Provinces are equipped with these bikes, you can sneak up on anyone in no time!

Maybe because you'll have to pick it up to load it.

Nice bike. Looks like it has a mid drive motor. You can get a lot more torque and hence a lot more hill climbing and towing power. Good choice

The bell is handy when approaching other people on the trails, roads, and bike paths. Yelling at people isn't as popular in Colorado these days. It's for courteous to ring when your 100 yard away. You'll may use it.

High quality brand such as this, should make a small diameter wheel urban bike..This, with large carrying baskets from and back.. The Villages in Florida, with hundred miles of paved golf cart paths would be a prime, target market...

It is a nice toy , however I could hear the motor . I have a different brand and it is two wheel drive , looks quite a bit like yours only has a 350watt in back and a 250 watt in front . They sure are fun . I use mine for mountain stream fishing .

If the bike weighs 70 pounds, what do you do with it when you get to the tree stand?
@JepsOutdoorAdventures2 жыл бұрын
Lean it against the tree, or use the kickstand and use a small vehicle cover to keep it concealed

All he needs to do is set the assist to 1 or 2 and pedal in a lower gear, and try to stay off the throttle. This is how I conserve my battery range. Requires a little more leg and lung work but not an awful lot.

@@blandis21 Oh good point, where I live it's all private farm land or public land you can't hunt in. 18 mile range would make me uneasy, not sure what trails out your way are like but for me a hunting trip would involve a 40 mile trip one way on road another 10 one way down dirt and field and a 2 mile walk into trees to dense to ride through.
@Error-eb9gv5 жыл бұрын
@@blandis21 A good bow is very expensive, I bought mine for 600 and another 200 on arrows but that's nothing compared to some guns like my vz58 I spent 550 on but another 500 on ammo in the 6 years I've owned it. Lots of fun by the way just a very expensive hobby.

That thing is not scent free. If the tires are made of rubber it is leaving a scent trail everywhere it goes. It may be less scent than an internal combustion gasoline engine powered vehicle, but it is not scent free.
@mlmcproductions41914 жыл бұрын
No scent means the bike doesn't smell of human. Your truck or car seat smells of human being made of absorbent materials. As we come front facing eye equipped we smell of predator. Bike tires and metal frame keep little scent of human smell.
