Gotta say the first bowtech I shot was last years speed bow and I was so amazed at how consistent it was without a sight and how smooth it was at 70 pounds and will definitely purchasing a bowtech hands down my favorite on the market I’m in tn and we don’t have a lot of bowtech dealers so thankfully I found one kinda close I’m excited to shoot and purchase my first bowtech it’s probably gonna be this one!!!

Why did I think the Core SS review would be boring... Just the hat rant alone. Your reviews are truly helpful.

Dude, your comment about Bowtech's hats that come with the bow is so spot on. It made me laugh. Those hats are ugly. They're too small for an adult head, and they're scratchy. Otherwise, we love you Bowtech!
@danielsmith8659

Facts…. I have a small head , therefore I like structures hats. I get free hats all the time , and it’s always the loose unstructured mesh backs , and I’m like you can keep it , they insist I take it… and it goes straight in the trash.

For real. I just bought a core SS today. I have an XL head so it was a no go. But my wife has a normal head and it was tight in her. Shit is made for a child. lol

One of the best channels bar none for bows. Ive been a hunter for 30+ years (rifle) then a few years ago i bought a mathews dxt and instantly got hooked. Wish i had got on the bow train long time ago! Then this last year i was looking to upgrade and came across a carbon zion with a trophy ridge digital react site,qad drop away, tight spot quiver etc... for cheeaaap! (600cdn) and barely shot. Now in your opinion would this bow be worth the upgrade considering my level of experience in archery/hunting. Thanks for everything you do to keep us all informed.
@BackyardBows
@BackyardBows Жыл бұрын
Definitely worth the upgrade yea , necessity no those carbons by Bowtech seem to last if it’s still performing keep it, the core ss would def be a nice change and I think it’s perf for a someone with your level of experience and very simple to learn and work on yourself

I wish they would’ve gone with a pic rail instead but I wonder if they’ll be coming out with a core lock stabilizer like Mathews did with bridge lock

Had a choice between this and the Solution SS, for $800 less (here in Australia anyway) went with the solution just couldn't justify the extra money. Love the reviews, you did sell me on the SS.👍

One of the best bows for 2024 no doubt. I do pull 27.5 - 28” and appreciate the performance side. However you can always build an arrow to get the speeds you want. Love the channel brother 👍🏻👍🏻

For the guy who has had major shoulder injuries and a major surgery and new to bow hunting (age 52) would you recommend the core ss 60# draw weight runed down with room to improve ir a Mathews image maxed out at 50#?
@cragar
@cragar 7 ай бұрын
I believe if you looked at the sound wave, you would see that your decibel reader is recording the arrow hitting your target, not necessarily the sound of the bow itself. Recording at longer distances may prove to give you lower sound readings b/c the reader may not pickup the sound of the arrow hitting the target as much.

I think I heard you say you work at a bow shop on weekends. If I heard that right is it in the Stl area. I’m trying to find a good pro shop. Bought my last bows at Dunns. Not in love with the bow shop there. Love the store though.

I’ve shot the SR but I finally shot the SS tonight and it’s incredible, haven’t owned a bowtech YET but it’s the best flagship of the year imho. Now I’m taking a look at the SS34 as well. I wish the core ss was a 33/34 I kinda feel like they did the SS and SR backwards on ATA length

How would you compare a Core SR 60# on performance or a 70# on comfort and what is the speed difference
@jonathantrumpower9316
@jonathantrumpower9316 9 ай бұрын
Good review man, I really want to love the bowtech and I know it's give or take.. If you want comfort you sacrifice speed; if you want speed you sacrifice comfort.. Why cant we just have both lol. If I could stay at 280 at 28.5"/70lbs with this bow id hop on it, but I think at my DL it's just gonna be pretty slow :(

Been loving your videos. Your perspective has been good cause I'm just getting jnto hunting with my budget bear. And looking at upgrading soon. I'm curious you did the justice. But no one has reviewed the commander. Looks great but info on them outside of bowtechs website. Have you had a chance to even see one in person what do you think?

At 50 yards you said it didn’t hold as well as you were hoping it would. Does that mean at 50 yards and longer it won’t be as accurate as other bows within that axle to axle range?

I shot the sr side by side with hoyt alpha x 33. The sr was in comfort. The draw was the same . Shot about 10-15 through each one . Hoyt had a touch less shock but it was so close it could have been my imagination. Shot at 28” draw on both.

I SHOOT sledgehamners.. i do not play around with 100 or 110 grain broad heads.. GIVE me that arrow penetration with an aggressive bow... I want to break $#!+ 😂 when i hit my mark..
