I setup an Honor for a customer a few months back. It was a nice shooting bow, felt good in the hand, and the accessories were pretty good too. The relief map etched on the bow and cams looked awesome. When I originally saw the price tag I thought it was just a gimmick, but I was actually pretty impressed with the whole package and just the bow itself. Was wondering if they would release it as a bare bow. I’m more of a Hoyt guy, but If it’s an Honor without the bling, should be a good shooter and definitely worth a look.

I'm intrigued by this bow, but the additional cost will definitely factor in. I guess I'm a little bit confused why they didn't use titanium hardware that has a black finish so it doesn't reflect in the field.

Its on the right track but really needed a lower stabilizer mount or an integrated stand. As well as just going with picatinny sight mount instead of this proprietary mount.

I have the SX80 and think it is the best platform Bowtech has ever made. They missed an opportunity not marketing that bow better because the stability and draw of that bow is incredible and pulling 80# on comfort, feels like 70#. I shoot it on comfort at 75# all during the offseason for indoor and 3D and have no problems. It may be a ways down the road, or maybe never, but a near perfect Bowtech bow would be the new 34" platform in AeroMag, with an 80# option.

Historically I’ve been a Bowtech fanboy. Frankly, I’m underwhelmed. I find their approach to “center mass” inefficient and not even mentioned in this video. Why not just go with pic mounts for the sight in addition to the rest? Bowtech’s marketing seems very weak too. Beyond ease of tuning, there’s not a very compelling set of benefits to buy this bow. It may be Mach 30DS here I come.
@EmergeFromTheAshes1Күн бұрын

@ Well, #1 - picatinny mount in front (for sights) in addition to the one on the rear which they didn’t mention in the video; #2 - 33” axle to axle (more stability with small sacrifice to weight and maneuverability), #3 - 6.5” Brace Height (a little more forgiveness with small sacrifice in speed, #4 - improved marketing (should’ve been announced b4 ATA, back up the claims about the Magnesium alloy with DATA re vibration, strength, rigidity, etc, attract some KZbin influence (aka Matthews/Hoyt). BTW, If the Mag Alloy is so “super secret” but in the same breath the Defense industry released it to “the public?” I believe Bowtech is owned by a VC outfit. If so, I can’t believe they’re happy with their investment at this point. Could be wrong though. If I’m correct, a major shot of “sizzle” is needed at Bowtech. I own two Solution SS’s that I’ve shot for the past 4-5 years. I was hoping this “exciting” announcement at ATA would be a major step forward…not so sure. Oh yeah, no mention of the price….what’s the value proposition?
