Hello Chris, it’s been a while since I’ve been over, I guess I just haven’t been seeing any notifications but saw your comment on someone else’s video and said dang, I need to go visit Chris so here I am. You are right in your assessment of the box blade and hope to see you again soon. Take care and have a blessed weekend.

I’m close to buying one of those. I was contemplating putting a hydraulic top link on it. Great video
@dehavenfamilyfarm3 жыл бұрын
A hydraulic top-link would work great with a box blade. Easy adjustment on-the-go!!

You and I have almost the same equipment. Awesome to find a new channel to watch. My channel is growing slowly... Good video will be watching in the future.

Thank you for this video. I am a beginner with a box spreader and you answered a lot of my questions. I have been searching for some time now and although there are some helpful videos out t here, this, in my opinion is the best by far. Again, thank you for this video.

That did a nice job. I should get one of those. Seems like once or twice a year now a huge rain washes the gravel down the driveway, I have to drag it back up.
@dehavenfamilyfarm3 жыл бұрын
They really are an easy way to pull the gravel back up a hill. Thanks 🙂

My favorite implement is the box blade Chris. I got one about 4 years ago and I'm gonna have to replace the scarifiers . I've seen some pretty good videos with the land plane. You made it look pretty easy.
@dehavenfamilyfarm3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Dean. It is easy to use when adjusted correctly, so it made me look good 🤣 I have seen some videos on land planes too, and they seem like a good tool for smoothing driveways. I've always wondered how they would do filling in bigger washouts. I'm not sure if they drag enough material with them.

Yeah couple years ago I got that white loader tractor and it came with a box blade and I was at first going to get rid of it because I said I’m a farmer what am I gonna do with us then I found out how great it is for fixing driveways
@dehavenfamilyfarm3 жыл бұрын
They sure are! It will also work for some grading, as long as the dirt is dry 🙂
