Yea but it's weird af how tom delonge and mark hoppus had this petty cold war of side-projects using travis barker. I honestly believe this project existed as a message to mark - not quite sure what it is, that's their business. But not just releasing it as an experimental blink album and only inviting one of your bandmates to do it is... cmon. Not to mention the music sold well, it represents alot of royalties.
@tankemate8 ай бұрын
@@hansolo631Tom said that the only reason he invited Travis is because he decided to pay for the whole record himself (before labels got involved) and he wanted to save some money by asking him to play for free. That was a big mistake because Mark felt he wasn't invited, but it was just a favour, lol. BCR wasn't supposed to be a band, just Tom recording with some "studio members" he paid, but he invited Travis and Travis invited some friends who would also play for free, and then things happened...

Picked up blink right before my sophomore year, in 2021. fell in love to the point where I listened their entire discography every day. I'd wake up to Dumpweed and finish the album before I got to school, went straight to TOYPAJ, then to Dude Ranch, Untitled, "Not now" Dogs eating Dogs, and then Neighborhoods. I Didn't discover Boxcar until February of my Junior year. But as my obsession with blink has eased, I still find myself connected to Boxcar time and again. Def one of my favorite albums ever.

Back in third grade (five hundred years ago), there was this cuuuuute girl in class. My first crush as a whatever-the-hell-old-year-you-are in 2002-2003. Every day after school, for months, I'd come home, put this song on repeat on my CD player (that's right - CD player. A thing that you held in your hand and walked around and did shit while it played ONE CD at a time), and worked on my "love letter" to her. With everything mispelled and written like a drunk. Never showed it to her. Never even let her know that I liked her. But it's odd how, at 32 years old, listening to this song brings me back to something I did when I was 12 or 13. Never let anybody tell you that music is meaningless - because it has the power to make you feel things you felt almost 20 years ago.

And here ladies in gentlemen, is the single greatest song tom has ever written, followed by anomaly, story of a lonely guy, even if she falls, what went wrong, time to break up, asthenia, I miss you, the adventure, and I feel so

all of tom delonge's bands have influenced me so much. going on 11 years now..no i think 12.either way. i'm getting a half sleeve dedicated to all of his music. because it's encouraged me so much, and it picks me up when i'm down, it makes me happy, it makes me feel so much at once. it's incredible.

I’ve been listening to for 10 years now. It’s the reason I’m alive. I’ve cried to this song, laughed to this song when showing it to friends, had revelations to this song. Yesterday I felt like killing myself and the only thing preventing me from dying was this song when it came up on shuffle. There were tears in my eyes and I just kept telling myself “is there someone out there who feels just like me? There is.”

I used to listen to this song when I was a kid. I was diagnosed with bipolar and I would say to my parents “sometimes I wonder if there’s anyone out there who feels just like me” and my parents would unknowingly say... “there is.” I’ve listened to it as the years go by and it never gets old. Tom if I was dying this would be the last song I would want anyone to play for me.

its not easy being smart inside the emo world.. youll die fast if you dont know what the hell youre doing. Biggest risk is probably becoming un-caring of that fact.. as you become that which you practise. Or even just practise what you already are.
