Hi Kudapooda! You're very welcome and thank you for watching and commenting. Oh that sounds good - chilled cake with hot tea, maybe also try the cake heated with tea, we'll have to do a comparison :) Take care too and wish you the best as well, hoping you're having a great weekend :)

I've been wondering why I keep getting substitutes and missing items whenever I do online grocery shopping. I think it must be Richard single handedly buying up everything and having it shipped over to the US 😂

Just send your online shopping orders to Ross and Tina..their house must double up as the Sainsbury’s, Morrison’s and Tesco locals! 😳😂😂

@weedle30 it would make sense if it was asda as they're who I have the most trouble with, before Christmas I had £15.90 of subs/missing from 1 order.

Hi Nadir, Happy weekend to you! Richard is legendary, villagers in far-away lands sing folk songs of his generous sample boxes and amazingly efficient packing skills. Seriously though, super generous of Richard, very much appreciated

Yeah it was the malted biscuit flavour Yorkshire tea last time, looks like it's either just malt or they've updated the packaging

I still had a few bags left of the biscuit flavor tea. I was hanging on to them to make them last...now I don't have to!

I get the raspberry ruffles for the wife as it's one of her favourite chocolates and I enjoy one my self but my favourite Turkish delight is the original rose one , Fry's was the very first chocolate manufacturer in the UK and bought out by Cadbury , here in Lancashire we're in the middle of an ice age at present , have a good week , you're not near any of the wild fires are you ?
@FinnLovesFood4 күн бұрын
I'm sure Ross will love the raspberry ruffles. Hope you thaw out soon! We're about 400 miles north of the fires, thankfully. It's terrible to see how many people have lost their homes.

@@johnhankinson1929 I fear the number of people who have died will keep rising. I'm actually surprised it isn't higher with how populated LA is and just trying to evacuate that many with the traffic.

Hi Margaret! Thank you, do you prefer it heated/chilled, and/or with any additional toppings? Hope you're enjoying your weekend :)

Hi both. I don't like the UK turkish delight at all!. However, i do love the turkish delights from Turkey (if you've ever been, you'll know). Sooo much tastier and better flavours. They do have the rose etc that the UK has aswell but they also have normal flavours. Plus it's fresh and they have different types. Plus other candies/sweets. If you can, i would recommend ordering some turkish treats or someone here can, if they want to. Thankyou to those who send this lovely couple food from our country. It's nice seeing what people think about it. Hope you had a lovely xmas season. We currently have ice , slush and some snow (not as much as other places). Still having issues with my left foot : over a year post op. No date for the right foot yet. See you on the next one , Leon xx

Hi Lovelifeandcrafts! We enjoy the turkish delight from Turkey as well - the texture seems firmer, may have some fine diced nuts and dusted with powdered sugar. Often we see similar sweets like that around Christmas by other names (fruit chews), they seem to have a sweeter taste. We appreciate both, and both are not something we see regularly in stores. Have you seen turkish delight from Turkey ever coated in chocolate or is that more of a UK variety? Hope you're having a great weekend.
@lovelifeandcrafts50033 күн бұрын
@FinnLovesFood hi both. I have seen some in turkey have chocolate on it: one of me new favourites is pistacchio turkish delight. It is like mini mini swiss rollls but the turkish delight as a base, chocolate spread , crushed nuts and then dusted in pistacchio crumbs. 🙂. They also have things like chocolate coated candied orange peels and assortments that has coffee stuff too. I hope to go again this year so i will bring some back and will do a video on it. The UK ones i find has a strange flavour and i don't particularly like the jelly texture lol . Anywho. Hope you both have a good weekend. Leon xx
