I love this show from my childhood. I restarted watching this after buying the dvd about 15 years a go. I watch it every year with my kids. In 2015 when back in England I visited severn valley railway to see these locations. I went to Ledbury hall as well C (Chesters theological college) and went a few towns and a church where it was filmed. There was a few places I missed in Shropshire seekings, the mill race with the boat scene, where the bishops party was and Hereford Cathedral (the church at the end and the thousand years of services on Christmas eve). Looking on here there is someone from Scotland Aberdeen I think I would love to see where the house was filmed up there next time over in England. A magical show I think some or a bit of the narnia programes were filmed on the station Prince Caspian episode.

I am always hugely humbled when someone reaches out in this way I was a very young boy the Christmas the BBC aired the box and it still has a very special place inside my heart. Hawkins a name I remember well x Thank you dear Sir

Well i felt 6 yrs old again watching this. That was just awesome. I still watch it every christmas (which annoys my kids lol ) Do you remember when it was advertised on Blue peter ? Great idea and vid !!!

Oh my goodness- this is dedication! Hope the film makers remember to check under their pillow for the real Box of Delights! The snow scene with the caraplane/aeroplane was filmed near me in Aberdeen and the snow was real.
