How do you do intarsia on the Passap?

There's an intarsia carriage for Passaps called a Picto carriage. It takes patience to use. You drop the front bed, lay the yarn over the needles and then run the carriage across. Jacquard can be done on the E6000, or via punch cards and a Deco attachment on the Duomatic 80 if you were thinking of knitting multi-color patterns.
