Box Truck Rolls Over Through Busy Intersection! Merry (belated) Christmas to everyone and thank you all for watching. Today's episode is yet another flying box truck rollover, in the middle of the day and in busy traffic.
We received this call from Mr. C's Tow to assist with a heavy duty rollover, but saw it was just a box truck once we arrived. Instead of heading back, I let Alex take over the controls on Hulk, my 50ton rotator, so I can focus on some cool shots with his DJI Mavic 3 drone. And I hope you guys like the end result.
For starters, we tried to minimize the already horrible traffic by keeping the single lane open. The police were already going to shut it down, so while a moot point at least we were able to alleviate some of that traffic and work quickly to get everything up and open.
Alex focused on the box by using a single strap, split in two with a triangle for an even lift. His other main line was used as a catch, and in conjunction with Joe up front made for a super smooth and controlled recovery.

When I’m in traffic I try to be patient.. one day I was in traffic and late for something.. don’t even know what it was.. I was so pissed off.. when I got to where the accident was and it looked horrible and I thought.. “dam I’m over here pissed off because I feel I’m having a bad day in traffic but the people involved in the accident may have lost their lives.. now their family and friends are probably gonna have to experience horrible trauma… and I’m here complaining about “fucken” traffic” 🤦🏻‍♂️

I get more pissed at people who insist on staying in a closing lane until they run into a barrier, and now it's everyone else's job to get out of their way. (and there have been signs telling them to get out of the lane for miles.)

Man I got towed last week by hulks brother. My truck lost air while on I-5. Truck could not built and hold air pressure. It was cool seeing it first person on how it works.

Hulk was the OG king of organization!!! I have custom brackets inside that aren't in any other rotator just for organizing. But as I go out less and less and focus more on office work I got lazier lmfao so Alex helped me out and organized it this way for me!

Hallo Josh and Alex, Your videos are very good, Josh, you are very good at explaining what you are going to do. Honking the horn helps when drivers think it's more important looking at their Mobiltelefon than driving a car. Even if its not allowed, in Norway, you will get a ticket for 924 $ for using for holding a telefon when driving. When the light is green, and the driver is not willing to drive, there is going to be honking.
