I wish TFT had enough units/traits so that flex was a wee bit stronger in the sense that there will be meta builds that use 1-2-3 traits, but there were still enough units that you could have a serviceable comp with the scraps so that you didn't completely fall off but had a fighting chance to maybe pivot if someone that has some of "your" units die. I guess traits like jazz was a sort of attempt to do this, but we all know how that went. As it stands now, unless you highroll a flex or hit one of those unit augments, you are guaranteed 7-8 it feels like. Might be because of rank tho, mid emerald, so I might be completely wrong.

Nah, you're right about the units that make the comp this set makes reroll significantly better than flex. Flex play isn't as good as it should be this set if we're talking about it from a strategy game perspective. Generally, flex play should be rewarded as seen from previous sets. Now, you're rewarded for rerolling because you get a charm every round, and having 3-star 2 costs builds are better than having incomplete flex 2-star 4 cost boards.
