you don't really need more starting HP and the AD is irrelevant, you just want more AP so he can scale up his HP more and armor/magic resistance which effectively multiplies his tankiness further along with lifesteal which scales up with his damage so he becomes unkillable so sorcerer just gives more AP and for the resistances you can just get the right items

Does it have to go on swain tho? I mean it could be just another tank with spark or random backline with shiv right? That way, swain could have a free slot of item so that he could sustain early damage before he gains the stack, correct me if I'm wrong Maybe if swain acts as a tank, but with Demonflare, he's the damage dealer, right?

@@Zixth8spark is a damage item, not only in the shred that it does, but the passive is insanely strong as it can do thousands of damage on its own. having spark on the swain not only ensures that the shred and passive are applied all the time due to it being on your unkillable tank and not a secondary tank that will likely die much before swain, not only gives you some good stats to go along with it, but also ensures that all of those effects are happening around your most important unit, to the most important units you need to kill (the other frontline, any non-lethal damage done to their backline just feeds them mana and accelerates their end of the fight). it can sound underwhelming but all of that is so genuinely important that it leads to the item being the undisputed best on him.
