I like this a lot! It gave me an idea for a "journaling kit." I'm going to cover a small composition book for the journal, then make a 3x3 card box. To fit in the box, I'll cut a bunch of 3x3 cards (without the fold/cover). Then, I will choose phrases from Small Talk Stickers by Tim Holtz Idea-ology, and stick one on each card. I'll label the box "Journaling Prompts." Finally, I will cover a larger box with similar paper, label it "Journaling Kit," and put the journal, cards and a nice pen in it! It's going to be a birthday gift for my niece!

I love these! I have been thinking about little cards because I like to give away (and trade) Artist Trading Cards. I also like to carry around quotes I like on little cards and just give them to people every once in a while. I have been thinking of combining the two into little folded cards that are 2.5"x3.5" with the art not the cover, the quote on the inside, and the usual artist info on the back cover... OR... the quote on the outer cover, the art as a full spread on the inside, and the info on the back. The boxes are also perfect for 3x3 origami papers...

I LOVE these and would love to make them for my dad for Fathers Day, but.. I don't have a scoring board or money for one right now. Is there another way I can score these without one? I do have the little scoring tool, just no board. ;)

I didn’t have a score board at first, so what I did was measure and mark where I needed to score my paper. Then I ran my score tool along my ruler where it needed to be scored. It took a little longer but it worked until I could get a scoring board. Hope this helps! 😊

Hey Alice, I'm glad you were only subjected to a political ad. KZbin chooses the ads that it puts on my channel. I have had some really terrible profanity laced ads come up. I'm sorry if an ad comes up that offends you, but the ads on my channel are out of my control.
