For all those who don't have much idea on what to do after throws, I hope this gives you an idea of what you could go for! But because the depth of oki is not completely linear, I'd like to hear what everyone likes to do for their setups! Wavedash tutorial video will be out in a couple days so stay tuned!
@jordanstocard68277 жыл бұрын
i swear you did this for me :D thanks boxer
@munfurai80837 жыл бұрын
Are you aware that hopkick/f2 d1 2 are viable oki options for back catches?
@BoxeRKing7 жыл бұрын
Yes, but they're too linear, better used when you have the read/download of the opponent you're playing
@facekoo7 жыл бұрын
Thanks a ton, I was actually just wondering today about throw Oki, and this gave me a lot of ideas. I also feel a little embarrassed, but I never knew you could throw them backward from the Executioner's Drop.
@BoxeRKing7 жыл бұрын
Lee Hall I always go for the just frame d+3+4 after f+3:1+2
@weareanonymas7 жыл бұрын
I'd love this guide as text so I could quickly check the oki options for each throw!

Awesome videos! I'm new to fighting games and Tekken 7 is my first one. I'm really starting to understand how to use King now thanks to you, he's probably the coolest character! Keep it up!

If opponent holds back or stands up after tombstone (or for any throw/move that leaves the opponent Face up feet away, except for the Screwdriver chain throw), you get a guaranteed f+2,1. Works wonders online
@YashiroAniki7 жыл бұрын
I didn't know in some throws there's guaranteed fellow up... Man I like your videos, please keep it up.
@memoriessomeonewewillnever7327 жыл бұрын
great video, thanks a lot for the tips. please keep the videos coming. I am still having some difficulties over controlling the Arcade stick however I didn't know king have all those potential. it makes him beast. you are very talented player :)

@bmrizzo17 жыл бұрын
awesome vid thank you! what do you mean by "if the people mash the break will always be the same?
@BoxeRKing7 жыл бұрын
Because in that specific chain, the damage difference is 60,65, and 95. So because of that people who know the chain usually will just accept the damage from the others to stop the higher one, and othertimes there's people who just mash 1+2 'just because'. It's something you just have to be weary about that it's not gonna be free damage all the time
@MineteInc5 жыл бұрын
@@BoxeRKing I thought you meant if the King player spams. If you just mash ki charge during that throw you will always get screwdriver, and the break for each individual part will always be 1. I've faced many ppl who only do it this way, so if you just press 1 after cobra clutch you're generally good. If it's not breaking, then you know they're not spamming in which case you will have to guess 1 or 2 (it might also be 1+2 ofc, but there are only 2 options with that break so most of the time it's not worth trying it)
@MrAlexBambino7 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot for the work! It helps a lot! If i miss iSW and do regular 2+4 and my opponent did not break i like to go cd into fc d/f 1 I'm currently bouncing in blue ranks so don't be too harsh on this low level oki, i'm new to t7.
@BoxeRKing7 жыл бұрын
That is perfectly okay to do, it can even catch good players. Koreans can even get hit by that sort of stuff. I've seen T-Virus setup fc df+1 from CD after b+1+2 > 2+4 on Chanel a number of times!
@Bovineicide7 жыл бұрын
I'm definitely making king my 2nd character because of your channel
@carritohmc7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the vid man!! I know there's probably a lot of videos you still have to make, but whenever you have time how about some King match-up specific videos, maybe against his worst match-ups, or the most popular characters. Tnx for the vids. Subbed!

Yes there is always plenty to cover, all in due time when I can :)
@fgcmonty10317 жыл бұрын
good job on all your videos. tombstone: f2,1 hits opponents who back roll.
@BoxeRKing7 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I personally don't like tombstone as a throw cause the chances to hit people is a little tunnel visiony, and since as a 2 breaker, i'd rather be doing TT instead.
@fgcmonty10317 жыл бұрын
BoxeR-King totally agree. TT is better. I try and use tombstone to close out a game. great way to end the round without the opponent getting rage. if you're interested I posted two videos you should check out. one for a max damage RD and the other for max damage on low launchers.
@BoxeRKing7 жыл бұрын
The max damage RD one is good! Never thought to use SSL ss+2, that's pretty smart. Be careful with using ws+4 from low launchers though, I don't have a list but there's some characters it doesn't work as I know there was one character I tried to do it on and I'm pretty sure it was whiffing, but that was a few weeks back. I haven't got a concrete list for it since I prefer to keep it simple with ws+2,2 or ws+2,2 TS! df+4,3, 1, f+2,1 W!
@fgcmonty10317 жыл бұрын
BoxeR-King yea. it isn't 100%. behaves oddly on king and Gigas. drops on some others. more of a game winning thing when you know it works. consistency>damage in my book.

I'm really sorry for this, back during these videos it was difficult between making videos too long for this reason.

Love the video and it helped me out a lot (got a lot to learn lol) but about the muscle buster. I saw a video where MBC was against Triple H and Triple H wave dashed into a muscle buster. Does this mean that a muscle buster can be buffered or is this different to throw buffering?
@BoxeRKing7 жыл бұрын
You're welcome! Just so you know, I am referring to after moves, not movement
@bean64667 жыл бұрын
BoxeR-King ohh that makes sense, thanks for clearing this up. I'm still kinda noob with King lol but the videos are really helpful, thanks dude 😄😁

I df+1WS2,2 cd 4 or 1+2 in some situations. If it's a lower ranked fighter u + 2 is something I go for if they mash a getup kick
