I met Jacko about 20 years ago when he was touring with Chopper, holy shit the man was a BEAST! I’d never seen a chest as big as his! So wide and deep, holy shit, Jacko looked like he could tear anyone’s head off. Top bloke though, really down to earth and friendly.

My memory of this was that it was initially all in good spirits and then Jacko started talking a bunch of trash in the lead up to the fight. Mal took some of it personally so decided to make it a legit fight. Looked like they'd buried the proverbial hatchet at the end though, which is good. Well done to Jacko. I don't think AFL guys, particularly back then, really understood how hard rugby league guys hit and how strong they are. It's a different level.
