Check the punch stats Tony. ffs. Fury didn't do near enough, he literally tried to keep pace with Usyk and steal a decision. He was scared to stick it on Usyk because of the overhand left coming back. He bottled it at his biggest moment.

@@garethhowells5733Allen clearly won that fight. It was a robbery Fury clearly lost the fight, he landed less than 15 power punches to 55+ landed for usyk, in total fury landed 140 odd punches, usyk landed 180 or so, only 1 of the 12 rounds fury outlanded usyk for punches landed

some of the commments below are a bit disrespectful, sims is a top coach and makes a very fair assesment of the fight. i struggled to score alot of the rounds, i had it a draw. tyson tired a bit for me, the extra weight didnt help. the Fury that beat Wilder 2-3 would have beat usyk no problem, fury cant sustain pressure like he used to. father time catching up with him. those years out the ring, the depression and weight gain, drugs suicidal,mental health problems, to even box after that was some achievement in itself. i feel its caught up with him a bit now. Fury has been past his best for a while now. same with AJ. as i've said the Fury that beat wilder would beat usyk no problem. an past his best tyson fury took usyk to points in 2 close fights.. so my point is valid. it's all about timing isn't it. usyk has timed alot of things well. he wasn't great against chisora or daniel dubios.. so lets not be saying usyk would beat a prme ALI, foreman, mike tyson and lennox lewis, because he would not.. people get too carried away imo.. this is probably one of the weakest heavyweight era's..

When you ask someone who thinks Fury won why they believe that, they rarely give a clear answer. Usyk won because he consistently landed more punches and more significant shots, particularly in the second half of the fight.

Fury usky was super close fight but unfortunately for fury is that usyk the champion and that normally get you through close decision's with the judges especially when he holding 4 belts ATM in time. They won't strip a champion normally if it's a close fight and that be happening years in most divisions if the fight goes to the scorecards and fighting for the champions belts. Definitely wasn't a 4 round win for usyk that for sure in my opinion. Yeah usyk won cause unfortunately fury didn't win it clearly enough to get that kinda decision when you trying to take the champion belts . But it wasn't one sided in both fights and I believe both are really evenly matched .

These people saying it's not about punch stats are doing my head in. Sure it's not ALL about them, but they aren't irrelevant either. This isn't Strictly Come Dancing where it's purely judged on how impressed you were on some purely subjective artistic basis, a lot of it is objective and can be measured
@Makle844 сағат бұрын
Stats are misleading. People keep going on about Usyk's totals, let's have a deeper look. 32 of his total were jabs to the body compared with only 8 for Fury. Although Fury threw his hard and had Usyk pause at times. There were 63 power head shots for Fury vs. 60 for Usyk. Usyk landed 9 more power shots to the body (46-37), with only 5 more jabs to the head (41-36). As you can see when you actually break stuff down, even the stats are closer then originally thought. It's all based on how effective the shots are at the time and moment. For example, Fury is very durable to the body and the only time the shots were effective were when it second guessed him or kept him off balance, didn't happen much. The bias around this fight is completely off the charts. Upon inspection, Fury defended alot more shots that they said Usyk landed. Fury landed more shots then first appeared (camera always behind Fury's back), go and check round 4 as just one example.

Why does it say honest opinion in the title when it should say biased opinion. Clear win for usyk would be an honest opinion headline.
