Listen i am a big Fury fan, but we must tell the truth. He had no answers for Usyk. Usyk is just brilliant in every area.His 200 amateur fights is a big advantage aswell. So much experience. His footwork, movement, he can fight on the back foot and press. He doesnt get himself caught in any rough dirty tactics also.Ok he doesnt have same knock out power as Tyson but he adapts and overcomes. He is a true professional and does not talk bad about his opponents and is humble and the ultimate professional. Huge fan of him and a great role model. I wish Tyson all the best but maybe he should call it a day.🙏

The Brits as a whole have been delusional about Fury’s ability to beat Usyk. The idea that he needed to “rough up” Usyk in clinches would depend upon Usyk’s ‘cooperation.’ The times Fury attempted to flout the rules were quickly neutralized by Usyk and/or the referee. Fury has no answer for Usyk’s mobility and skill.
@pauld5723
@pauld5723 18 күн бұрын
A lot of ''Brits'' actually hate the guy it seems, and appear to be revelling in his two losses to Usyk. Fury has British fans, but to many he has always been an outsider. A lot of people just like boxing and don't think about nationality. It seems alot of people are insecure, yourself included.

@@pauld5723I think it’s also about setting an example, not only for the fans of the sport. If you are calling yourself a champion, you need to walk the walk. This is where Fury falls short and is even more amplified when you put him next to Usyk, the complete opposite of what Fury represents.
@Pugilistspecialist-z4y

@wolczo7321

@ Not sure where my “insecurity” fits into this discussion. When I wrote “Brits” I was referring to the so-called pundits, promoters, and boxers all over social media who publicly expressed their confidence in Fury’s revenge despite his loss in the first fight. Their bromides of “roughing up” and bullying Usyk were pointless, as were their reference to Chisora’s so-called “success” doing that in Usyk’s second heavyweight pro fight. The Usyk who twice thoroughly beat and nearly knocked out AJ and Fury, who destroyed DuBois, is not the same boxer who learned a few things fighting Chisora. In every bout, Usyk hones his skills to become an even better competitor.
@Music-oi2nf

“The Brits as a whole”? Err no. I’m British and everyone I know thought Usyk would win the second fight. And most of us prefer Usyk in every way to Fury. We are not naive just because Fury’s British.

I know people have different body shapes, not everyone is going to look like AJ and the bodybuilding type is not ideal for boxing. However, cannot understand how a top tier professional sportsman like Tyson Fury can look the way he does. Even as a big heavyweight who seemingly wanted to go into this fight with added weight, Fury surely would have less body fat. Three month camp, training 2/3 times a day with best facilities and personnel should have resulted in a fitter looking and performing Tyson Fury. Points to bad diet, shit out of camp living and previous excess catching up.... surely??? Don't know for sure, obviously, and I'm no expert but doesn't seem/look right. Then compare to Usyk.......

Fury's body was fine vs klitschko. He then ballooned up to 28stone, then lost all that weight which has caused him big problems with his mobility. Losing all that weight left his body with love handles and loose skin around the waist. He can't generate perfect hip rotation when planting his feet, so he's ineffective at throwing powerful combinations. His only big shot is uppercuts against shorter fighters due to his biomechanics.
@dctbass
@dctbass 16 күн бұрын
Spot. On. Fury's conditioning has always frustrated me. He has never looked like an athlete. He has never lived the life of an athlete. He has ONE job; to be an athlete, to be fit. And he can't do it. Fury has achieved massively in boxing. I think he is a Great. But, I can't stop thinking; how good would he have been, how much could he have dominated (and for how much longer), if he had lived the life of an athlete. Usyk is a perfect illustration of how much can be achieved if you live the life of an athlete, if you truly dedicate yourself to your sport. Usyk is an all time great.
@DrRepper
@DrRepper 16 күн бұрын
@@Inmyownleague he used to blow up massively between fights long before the Klitschko fight. Managed 20lbs in 13 weeks once. The difference is it's easy for a young man with a fast metabolism to get it all off when he's fighting 3 or 4 times a year (and boshing the Nandrolone with it). As soon as he was down to fighting once or twice a year he was doomed. He's not naturally muscular, so as soon as he stops he drops lean bulk (you can tell by his legs and his shoulders). That makes it next to impossible to get all the weight back off when he goes back into camp, because there isn't enough muscle to burn all the calories, and if they work on explosive training to bulk up and shed the fat quicker then he wouldn't have the cardio to get through 12 rounds. Boxing is the only elite sport where the top competitors are only actually competing for maybe an hour and a half PER YEAR. That's a long time to let your body go to shit if you're naturally lazy.

I agree with Dom, and im a huge Fury fan, gutted he lost. But unfortunately Usyk stamina and weight allowed him to slide back combos more consistently. Of course, if fury was a big puncher he could go another few years and be a threat to anyone the way foreman was, he simply doesn't, hes not mobile anymore, he was never a big puncher anyway but if was unbelievable how weak his combinations looked Saturday, literally might as well of not bothered throwing them, usyk laughed at him a couple of times, shots had no effect and usyk rocked him a few times with fairly average shots, furys punch resistance diminished, furys a could of should of character... Imaging if he stayed with peter, never disapeared for 3 years and lived like a boxer should outside of camp.. Shame really

Fury was much better compared to the first fight but didn’t utilize body shots as much, which had previously shaken Usyk significantly. However, throughout the match, he couldn’t dominate Usyk and ended up losing. In my opinion, without a knockout, all matches are left up for interpretation-Fury was knocked down by some of the hardest punches in the heavyweight division but got back up and kept fighting. it’s not logical, just emotional! 😃 Usyk has a superior defense, no doubt, but sooner or later, he’ll face the kind of situation Fury did. When that time comes, it’ll be fascinating to see how he handles it.

I feel for Fury you can tell he worked hard for that fight and he boxed really well but he just couldnt sustain it for the full 3 minutes and so Usyk was able to steal the rounds away. If usyk loses its gonna be by knockout to a bakole or something if he choses to fight on. Nobody in the division has the skills and engine to outbox him. Fury had the skills but just doesnt have the endurance anymore, maybe he never did for a fighter like Usyk.

I think if you asked a hundred judges to sit next to the ring you'd get different rounds giving by each of them. It's not ideal but it how it works. I'd have given a draw or a fury by 1 round from my TV view but mines not worth anything. Tyson is still a brilliant fighter to me and Alexander is just the same, 2 top gladiators going to war

What a great, informative responses by Dominic Ingle; his responses and views were not tailored by prejudice or emotions. Calm, collective views, based on his experience and knowledge of boxing. I didn’t say a great interview, because on a couple of occasions the interviewer asked him questions he’d already given an answer to!

Dominic Ingle is a great friend to Tyson Fury and I hope he still feels that way after this interview. Hi assessment for the fight was bang on. Fury is tailor maid for Usyk in terms of his poor conditioning and Usyk just knows how to box and win fights.

This guy is chilled out and seems a decent man. I know his father was the legendary Brendan Ingle who single-handedly created a style of boxing that was extremely effective and very difficult to fight against. Many years ago I had a sparring partner - who probably taught me more that I did to him - who in his 5th or 6th fight fought a young man from the Ingles camp and lost because of that in/out switch-hitting style. Prince Naseem Hamed was probably the greatest component of this style. Anyway my ex sparring partners name is Colin Farricker who was a very talented boxer who I know would destroy a lot of boxers but sadly he couldn’t get to grips with those marvellous Ingle geniuses.

Usyk has a winning formula....keep the Huge Heavyweight Lumps moving & wait for them to gas out & all the while peppering them with point scoring pitta-patta punches. Boring but very successful It's the Formula he's used in all his 6 Heavyweight bouts .

I know nothing about boxing but a good bit about AI and the tech's capabilities. You're dead wrong, Dominic, if you believe AI is a long way off judging a boxing match far better than any human. Providing there's multiple camera angles and the programming done to interpret the nuances you listed, then AI will do it with ease. It's literally too easy for it. There's so much riding on the general acceptance of AI by the wider public that they wouldn't consider risking its reputation at this time with a poor rollout. Almost every profession is at risk, definitely including boxing judging.

Tyson Fury peaked during wilder II.. that version of Fury would not be beaten by any HW in this era.

@ I would like to hear your argument as to why it isn’t? I’m not taking away anything from Usyk. Usyk is the best of his generation and an all time great, because he is able to sustain his level even at 37.
@bricky5862
@bricky5862 18 күн бұрын
@@Cosmic-Arts0 no problem, pretty simple really, he’s just been beaten for the second time by an older man who is also well past his peak but has an unbelievable resume, clearing out 2 divisions of its major contenders and becoming undisputed in both! fury has not cleared out or even fought all his major rivals to prove any theory so the narrative of he would of done this or could have done that is just an opinion, a hopeful one at that, it means nothing in the world of facts and reality, it’s a similar train of thought from aj fans, if he still had that hunger from 2017, or he stayed with McCracken, or he didn’t rush in on Ruiz, he’d still be champion, reality is he wasn’t then and isn’t now good enough to hold that legacy! That’s coming from a realistic aj fan

@@bricky5862 I agree that scenarios are merely speculative and that we can only judge based upon the objective results. Usyk is an intelligent fighter with that extra gear, where he stays busy with volume and footwork. In the previous comment I placed i suggested why it was weird that people called Usyk a small HW. He had the same height as Muhammad Ali, Foremen and Holmes and wasn’t very off in terms of size compared to the golden generation of heavyweights. I suggest that Usyk is on par with the HW’s of that time and that he is the best of his era both in cruiserweight and HW. Usyk cleared out the HW division with only 7 fights, that is a remarkable feat that has never happened in history (if I am not wrong on that). In the end, it was an ‘entertaining’ era during the AJ-Fury haydays, but in the end it was Usyk who beat the game. A fighter with his unique way of carrying himself, humble and a man of principles.

Nah they stole a round or 2 from Usyk but the right man won. Idk how people score fights anymore. Isn’t it supposed to be about the number of clean punches landed and the quality of the punches per round? It seems like people score segments of rounds and combine them together or something lol. “Well Tyson did good for the first 3rd of the round and really well in the last third of the next 2 rounds therefore he wins those 3 rounds even though he was outlanded and hurt in those 3 rounds.

Usyk-Itauma and Borg-McEnroe analogy: Wise words. I wouldn't be shocked if Fury ends up training with Ingle. A change is definitely needed. Ingle or McGuigan are both strong options.

Either way what a great gift you gave and such a honour to have it hanging in such an iconic gym win win 👍👍 Dom wants to be Tyson's trainer for sure i have always said this 😂, and tbh i think it would be a great match, if it wasn't Sugarhill doing the job that is. I totally agree! It was a tough match, but not a close one. It’s crucial to gain a lot of experience in amateur boxing before turning pro. It teaches you how to win rounds. I think the score was 117 to 111, just to be kind to Tyson. Don and Teddy are the best boxing commentators ever! Usyk, retire now! That was an awesome video!

Belief is the strongest force! The government don’t want that image to be shown, they would sooner keep it as two men fighting. When really, boxing is so much more graceful than that. Let the fighters see what motivates them, because that is the reason where the belief came from in the first place.
