One thing Eubank has never lacked is a chin. The rehydration clause may affect that and I'm no fan of letting severely weight drained boxers in a ring at all, but if eubanks resilience is the same as usual, I can see Benn getting disheartened when he can't dent him. Plus that jab of juniors is a real weapon under Jones and I can see that breaking Benn eventually.

Eubank jnr is fucking hilarious. In all honesty though he doesn't seem that up for the fight and expects to walk straight through Benn, which could end up making it interesting if he gets too complacent. Benn can punch.

That's it though isn't it, eubank snr was probably the hardest hitter in the division at the time and he definitely had the hardest chin. Junior doesn't have a fraction of the power his old man does but from what I've seen Conor is a chip off the old block. Chris jnr doesn't seem to be able to go to the trenches like his old man could, if Conor can I think jnr is in trouble.

@Florence Nega I knew Chris snr back in the 90s and I can tell you that jnr is nothing like his old man, as much as he'd like to be, whether he can beat Connor or not we'll see but from what I've seen from junior his biggest problem is that he won't listen to people who do know what their talking about, like his father who incidentally won't be in his corner.

@@sexydudeuk2172 well like I said, I haven't seen enough of Connor to have an informed opinion but I have seen enough of eubank jnr to know that he isn't in the same league as his old man and his biggest flaw is that he thinks he knows more than his trainers or his father. Bare in mind that he's 32 and by that age his old man was a double world champion looking at retirement. It may well come down to who has the best chin and the hardest punch. Eubank jnr definitely doesn't have the power his old man had and I doubt if his chin is as good either so realistically it will depend on how good Connor really is? Anyway we haven't got long to wait and one of us is going to be wrong! 👍

Eubank may not have his father's power but he has fast punches, a good jab, wild flurries, fights well off the back foot, good counter skills and a good engine and he does have his father's chin because he's never been knocked down and has faced hard hitters and I don't think benn has his father's power either considering he's fought washed up oldies
