I respect what both these men are willing to do to make this fight happen for the fanatics. From going down in weight 11 pounds and adhering to a rehydration clause on the side of the more experienced Mr. Eubank Jr, to coming up in weight 10 pounds and fighting in a division he has never set foot in professionally for the less experienced Mr. Benn- everything here indicated these men are willing to do everything to continue a legacy of violence that began when both their fathers set out to inflict devastation upon each other. But there will be many pros and cons for both pugilists. One has a greater chance than the other at being more seriously hurt- although that is never a certainty, and it could be the other way around (Benn). The other may not receive the the credit for beating the other- as most natural, physical advantages would be on his side (Eubanks). Yet whoever comes out with their hand raised will likely be questioned for any perceived advantages and other disparities that behooved one over the other by some, and respected for overcoming the odds by others. There will be no belts on the line, no mandates, only desire to harm each other. And lucre. And valor. And excitement for the fans. I cannot wait for these warriors to engage in hostile encounter. 🖖
