One of the things I like about Lenovos gaming laptops is theyre very sleek looking, not tacky and covered in RGB or other things on typical gaming laptops. It means that if you turn the rgb off of the keyboard, it looks like any old business laptop. This makes it a good alternative to actual business laptops which can be a lot more expensive.

I may be wrong here but I notice you mentioned the laptop has no shortcut to adjust the brightness of the keyboard's backlight. I have a Legion 5 that has a single zone backlight so on mine the shortcut is FN + Spacebar which on this model cycles through your profiles as you pointed out. But I think on these models that have RGB keyboards you use FN + the Up & Down arrow keys to adjust brightness. Nice in-depth review of the laptop though. I like the improvements & rebrand that Lenovo have made on the Ideapad Gaming 3/LOQ.

Got the Lenovo LOQ 15 Ryzen 7 7840HS yesterday for $699.99. Lenovo said it can take up to 32gb of RAM. But I read on some forums that it can work with 64gb. I got 2 32gb 4800MHz in there and it works fine. So, I have 64gb of RAM. I also added a 2TB NVME SSD to the 512gb that comes with the laptop (it has 2 slots). Nice deal from Best Buy. The best laptop for the money.

Hmm it should be in the Vantage app under Lenovo Spectrum, I found it towards the bottom of the page in the app. If not, you could always try updating the laptop or even uninstalling the vantage app and re-installing it through the Microsoft store for free to see if that helps.

I bought the 2024 one, a few days ago. I have one question, is it normal to have a battery temperature of 36 C? It starts from 31 and after some hours it goes 36 and stays there. Vantage says it's not normal (above 35) showing this message: "High temperature. Please cool it to extend the battery lifespan." I only play light games along with some youtube videos. Nothing special... So it seems a little bit strange, I don't know. It's my first laptop anyway...

I have Acer Aspire from 2019. By no means is it a gaming laptop. I use HD Sentinel and when I turn on my laptop, it starts at 32 C or 36 C normally. I wouldn't worry, but then again, my experience is one laptop which is far from a gaming one.
