Not surprising, you are taking a bunch of teenagers who have never trained on the traditional path of kart-racing > junior leagues etc, and expecting to get them in physical shape for professional racing

Wouldn’t it make more sense for these kids to start training on go karts first before driving GTRs? Have them start small than work their way up. Have they never actually thought of that?

I guess training with go karts would teach them the basics of racing but they weren't going to f1, karts it's not the best for GT cars but it gives you a sense of what racing basics are

I think that’s how they did it in the actual GT Academy when it existed. At least, it was one of the first few challenges.

an astronaut does 10+ gs on take off bs they experience double that maybe in a wreck but not withstanding gs

Astronauts experience a maximum of around 3.2 Gs to hit roughly 30 m/s^2, where 1G is only 9.8 m/s^2. I don't know where you heard 10+, but that's RIDICULOUS. Even fighter pilots don't hit that much during heavy banking turns (the F-16 was only rated to be able to handle 7 Gs on a turn, F-22 Raptors around 9 Gs), and they have to wear G-suits that squeeze their legs during turns to force the blood back up into their heads so they don't black out under that much force. ~6Gs in a racing car is totally believable.
