Seems to me that there's a new signature move from Guy Ritchie films: poor marketing and film distribution. I had to drive 45min one way to a theater that played this. It's frustrating because this one was a blast and his movies deserve so much more love. They always get right down to business and never waste any time. The Covenant and Wrath of Man were the same way. At least his recent Gentleman series seemed to be pretty popular!

Yes it would compress and potentially hurt the baffles, yes the suppressor would get hot (it's why they often added cloth around it to protect the hand) And yes baffles might get damaged, worsening the sound profile. But those baffles and wipes were all(relatively easily, if time consuming) replaceable. So it's not a "couldn't" but a 'probably shouldn't to not hurt the hardware' The gun would do full auto just fine. If the suppressor would be functional after, now that's a secondary point.

I hear you there. That's now a signature move from Guy Ritchie films: poor marketing and film distribution. I had to drive 45min one way to a theater that played it. It's frustrating because his movies deserve so much more love. The Covenant and Wrath of Man were the same way.

One could argue that his men were on the lookout for guns or some kind of evidence that they were allied spies, so someone just jumping up and suddenly sledding the commanders throat could have reasonably taken them off guard long enough for, the good guys on the boat to take action

Im really happy to find out that ritchson is a bit more dynamic than just being the stoic and intimidating jack reacher in every performance. Something i had feared was going to be the case. meh, he's made a lot of great movies, but Revolver was one giant piece of crap. Saw the opening of the Toronto Film Festival. No one in the crowd could follow the plot....Despite a great cast, it sucked and bombed.
