As this is forcing some one to change their religion Also if you don't believe me than check about the cases in Sindh court of Pakistan, you will find not one but atleast 100 cases of these kind happing there. And about minorities, hindus are minorities in Pakistan and they deserve justice and support to prevent some one from violating their human rights.

It actually touches on the Paranoia that normal, everyday people get trapped in. You spend the whole day trying to find them slipping up and you just know they follow you. They come in the grocery store and don't buy anything. They create street drama like an accident to slow you down. Then, they vanish to make you think you are losing your mind.

like mixing up lyrics to a song. Instead of meaning anything specific, it shows Truman’s agitated or distracted state of mind. He’s rattling off clichés but can’t even get them right, which adds a bit of humor (and maybe a hint that he’s losing it).

The thing is that if they were filming him 24/7, the moment he tells his wife his predictions should have been enough for the producers to make some adjustments and prevent at least one of those three people (girl on bicycle, man with flowers or man driving a volskwagen) from crossing that intersection and replace them with some other random pedestrians or drivers.

It's weird for me when I watch the Truman show I hate all the crew and people involved in making Truman a prisoner but I hate her (his wife) most of all I think just for the person she was supposed to be in his life, she betrayed him in every way possible, his life partner... I sometimes imagine the actress auditioning for the role, how cold she must have been to not care that Trumans life was confined to a box..to play the person who was supposed to fall in love with him and protect him...

He had really good timing at the beginning. The lady on the bike, the man with flowers, and the Volkswagon Beetle with a dented fender were all traveling at different speeds, taking different times to go around the block. He wasn't just reciting the order they were in from the last lap. He tracked how long each takes and figured out what order they'd be in. Though from the sound of it, he expected the Beetle to be a bit faster. And probably was expecting the first two to have a bigger gap, which is why he was so sure of their order.

My theory is that he sat in his car glancing at the rear view mirror, rather than looking behind him, and not reacting in a way that was obvious enough to let the people in the studio know what was going on in his head. So like, they knew he seemed out of sorts because he was just sitting in his car going nowhere, but they didn’t realize he had picked up on the pattern. And maybe the extras didn’t have the same equipment that the main actors had, to save money, so when he starts telling Meryl about it, they aren’t able to instantly communicate with them to tell them to stop.

@@axonis2306it’s not a blunder. Ever had to coordinate an entire town to not only function as a 24/7 movie set (including holidays) but convince the star that it’s all real? Having a few people walk, drive, and bike in loops is a way to give an impression of population density with just a few people on a set. I’m sure this show had a budget just like any other and actors aren’t cheap. Also there aren’t any shows like this one in reality or in universe, so the producers would fall back on techniques they were familiar with without thinking about it and wound up slipping by making the walking route too short and symmetrical.

It's the whole point. Christof the director is a control freak and a perfectionist, so cannot allow any breaks in the routine even when Truman is catching on. Truman suffers because living a lie is painful, and he escapes because the promise of true freedom-even with all its uncertainty-far outweighs the comfort of a scripted reality.

humans are wired to seek genuine autonomy and meaningful experiences, even if that means accepting risk. A controlled life might be safe, but it lacks the very elements-real choice, authenticity, spontaneous connection-that make life worth living. That’s why, for many, stepping into uncertainty is far more appealing than staying in a comfortable cage.

Writers: soo christof how are going to make sure truman stays in the island and never leaves. Christof: easy we have his “father” drown in episode 25, after that he should develop Aquaphobia. The one and only way to access the island will be via only just one bridge that will go over water.

1:35 If you never got why Truman looks confused like that. It's because he never mentioned going to Fiji to her - only the idea of bumming around the world. Only we, as the audience got to see him go to the travel agents... So the question in his mind is, how does she know about that... his secret. That's the point of his confusion.

I know this will sound weird but Truman's "wife" reminds me of my ex fiancee'. My friend had to take me aside and convince me she was faking her love for me the whole time. I resisted at first but he emphatically said "Go think about it for 30 minutes straight!". Lying in bed that night, looking straight up at the ceiling in the total dark I suddenly rose up and yelled "oh my God!". It's so true love is blind..and/or fake.

You know, they could’ve easily avoided some of this that would cause him to be suspicious if they had just made sure the actors go and do their own thing but have some basic perimeters and parameters on where the out of bounds is at and made sure Truman stays away from if he came too close. Also made it so that if he wanted to travel, all they have to do is just made sure they go on a zigzag on the plane and made it so boring that it kills off a good chunk of his desire to travel. Not to mention they could’ve just done the same thing with the ships and boats in case if he DOES want to conquer his fear of water because he lost his “father”.
