I was a boxycharm customer from day 1 for years. When they merged with ipsy the boxes started repeating old items from both ipsy/boxy and the customer service autobot chat they began went south. I quit after months of trying new merger and havnt gone back. Boxy lost its charm when yosef left

The only way I would be cool with Ipsy giving us 4 products is if they only choose one product for us and we can still customize the other 3. It also needs to consistently the $200 value per box that they promise! I don’t want value being compromised if they want to make a change like that!

My November boxes is amazing!! No complaints. I just made my choices yesterday, and Im happy. I actually canceled mine for almost a year. I renewed it again back in the summer. Honestly, I think the options are better now, for the most part. I dont miss the old days of lip liners, mini unknown brands, and eyeliners that used to always be in the box. Personally, I LOVE getting well known brands and some up and coming indy brands. I do prefer when its newer launches. I think sometime people that have channels forget that the majority of us dont have the money or own a beauty channel where we open 50-100 products per month. I can't afford to spend 48 on one Tula moisturizer BUT I will glady spend 35-60 bucks a month on my box to get 350-500 worth of products. My Icon box this month has 395 worth of products that I am excited to use..

Exactly! I love being able to get a box of good skincare and makeup at an affordable price. I wouldn't have any skin care except maybe a moisturizer from the drug store if it wasn't for ipsy. And they carry a lot of popular brands. They are also including new launches like the benefit plush tint. I love my ipsy

Love yr Boxycharm box! Items r great! I wouldn’t pay more sick of price increases. I think 4 items for same price is stupid. Unless u get to pick all 4 items. Maybe better. Idk what Ipsy is thinking. But if they raise prices, and everything is the same as this yr they will absolutely lose customers. People don’t have money like before. Everything in life has increased. Hello inflation. Even the Ipsy Shopper isn’t doing as well or the Mega Drop Shop I’ve noticed. Prices r too high. Once in a blue moon I find an amazing deal! I grab it! TFS! Live yr necklace. ❤❤

I started with my subscription when it was boxycharm and stayed with Ipsy/boxy for just a few months. I wasn’t happy with the choices. It did seem like the same stuff over and over. Or it was stuff that came out two years ago 😳 I agree with you. They need to include more current items and different brands or work with more indie brands. Love your box this time! Sydney you "hit the nail on the head"!!! They absolutely need to incorporate new brands and current releases to stay fresh. I cancelled because I was tired of getting eyeliners and lip glosses as well as a ton of skin care. They need to go back and look at the plan Yosef had with the original BoxyCharm. Ipsy is feeling the cancellations and it's hitting the people who are staying.

I agree if this is supposed to be sampling service then they need to send us new brand not repeated skincare why do they have to send a serum moisturizer and primer a bronzer a lipstick as makeup ugh

Threw Ipsy occasionally I find a product I love & since I got to try it .I repurchase it so I think beauty brands benefit . I would never buy an expensive product I haven’t tried .I have done that in the past and learned my lesson

I was a subscriber of Ipsy’s from almost the beginning and a long time subscriber of Boxycharm. I cancelled because I wasn’t getting what the influencers were getting. I rarely got the choices for products I wanted. If they go to 4 products then I see more people cancelling their subscriptions. It’s sad to say because Ipsy used to be sooo good.

I’m an annual subscriber & just got my renewal reminder for December & the price did not go up. I like Boxycharm because you get to choose 3 items but I agree that some new products/companies would be great. My November choices were terrible & I didn’t even select any add-ons because they were the same old things.

I think subscription boxes in general are eventually gonna phase out. There have been so many home decor or niche boxes that are no longer around, I think that is what is going to happen to beauty boxes. It sucks, though!

I haven't canceled my subscription but I've been skipping getting my bag for three years now, every month I skip, I only stay for the occasional deal in the shop. I ordered something in October, just three little minis and they came in an original black Boxy Charm box. I haven't seen one of those since the relaunch, thought it was 2018 again 😂😂

They definitely need to do something about always sending skincare so fedup with skincare theme every month they think cheating customers of a product is going to fix the problem or price increase they are in for a wake up call because loyal customers are going to cancel love your top and necklace

I had ipsy when they started and even boxycharm when they started but I stopped my subscriptions like 5 years ago and just started again cuz i was getting too many minis. They've definitely done better and just re-subscribed, but yes, they need ro stay on trend but keep their normal price. Don't jip us on size but offer the new brands just the same.

I quit Boxy years ago when Yosef was making political statements and quit Ipsy over a price increase about the time of the merger. Haven't missed either. It got junky and cheap feeling for both. Haven't missed it.

Hey Sydney! I'll bet your views are up on THIS one! 😅 If you don't mind my bluntness, why WOULD they cut you in? You purchase the box, record the box (VERY professionally), and bring them new customers. I mean, "I" ordered my first box with your link.🙂 Maybe there's something I don’t understand about the business model, but if I owned Boxy Charm, I'd be offering partnerships to creators who aren't already doing it for free. It’s getting bad. Ipsy picks are now left over products from the shop. Profiles and reviews mean nothing. They’re defintely mismanaging the box, having issues getting new brands interested in doing business with them and just financially struggling. Also an original member, and I’m sure these are all the reason’s The owner sold out to Ipsy. It was not longer sustainable. I stay for the shop mostly but even that is getting dull. I’m enjoying Allure more these days.

I’d like to see more products tagged as you did with Tula, which carried over well into the next product. There’s inflation everywhere, in prices and in your intro which was more than six minutes long. Packaging and color opinions are so subjective and overdone.
