Gary McDonald - the actual person - certainly is no 'dick'. Norman Gunston - the fictional character - is, by common Aussie 'standards, most certainly 'a dick'. Barry Humphries most certainly is not a frustrated housewife from Moonee Ponds. Dame Edna Everidge - a fictional character created by Barry - IS a frustrated housewife from Moonee Ponds.
