GOOD for him! It's about time he got a little torked with some of the idiotic questions that are thrown at him during interviews. I can't help but respect him because he is articulate, funny, and completely HONEST. I've seen many interviews here where he patiently spoon-feeds the idiot 'who he is' and gently tries to help them GET IT. Looks like he's HAD IT here, and I applaud him because no matter what, he's ALWAYS completely honest and speaks his heart and mind. May we all do so regardless.

Oh, and one more thing - I don't think he likes people to comment negatively on either the lyrics to his songs OR to compare them to another song as though his was somehow a "repeat." His lyrics are personal to him because he wrote them. Respect is hard to come by when your Boy George, it seems.

So intelligent, he's such an attractive man, even to this day. (Despite what some people say.) A bit bitter and showing attitude here, it's interesting. Furthermore, how are the lyrics anywhere near unintelligent? "War is stupid." Sounds like a perfectly correct statement to me! Did they even listen to the rest of the song asides from the chorus? The verses are incredibly intelligent and and thought provoking! Thank you for posting the video.

Sorry I disagree. I didnt agree with George when he said it was"the best" but come on. ALL anti war songs automatically have a good message. Culture Club isnt the only group to create an anti war song. Theres another song with lyrics "War! What is it good for? Absolutely nothn!"

@@lessismore8533 Edwin Stars' War, was sung from the soul, where as CCs anti war sung sounds like a nursery rhyme, with babyish tones, which give the impression the song was written in seconds and charted ok because fans bought it. I feel embarrassed for CC whenever it comes on, and I skip it pretty quick!! : )

@@redrumtruecrime to each their own but that's still your opinion. The chorus isnt the strongest lyrics but you have to listen to the verses too. And the music video is awesome..better than the song. I like both war songs. Youre allowed to like Edwins war song better because I know it has a different style. But at the end of the day it's the MESSAGE that matters not how the song sounds. If every song in the universe had the same freaking style, it would be boring. So I appreciate variety. As far as "baby tones" goes, many 80s songs had that sound. Such as "together forever " by Rick Astley. You cant prove that this song was only successful because of fans unless you share evidence. Good day.
