Yes! He told that story years and years ago to an interviewer. It was funny! He also said that when he still lived at home... His mother and father were both in the living room and he came in with something outlandish. I think he told this to Barbara Walters in his first interview with her. He said that he had toothbrushes woven into his hair... all the way around, I believe. He said that his mum said to his father, " Make him stop! Make him stop!!!! ". He said that his father just made a face and went back to his newspaper!!!

I saw pictures of George doing community service a few years back when I think he was at a real low point mentally and physically (I think he was recovering from some addiction), but bloody hell he looks great now. Aging well.
