My favorite part of our planet is our forests. Most people think forests are too quiet. My response to them is that they have yet to learn how to lissen. Yes there are no people yelling, cars honking, construction ect in the forests. But they are by no way quiet. When you learn how to lissen, you'll find out that there is plenty of sounds in forests. And that they can grant you peace beyond most other alternatives. Especially now days, when we are sourounded 24/7 by intrusive obnoxious sounds. I really love to walk out in to a forest, far away from people, roads and citys. Make a small camp fire, boil som tea or coffe. grab a knife and do some wood carving. And just enjoy the soft russeling of the wind in the leafs of the trees. The happy chirping of birds pearching on their branches. Scuirrels running and jumping around in the tree tops. The damp cool air, and the smells of trees, bushes, moss and dirth.

@FOOZY even when its closest, it takes over 3 minutes for light to travel from earth to mars while simply comunicating between planets is not difficult (infact, we already do it with the rovers) live footage and video calls are not possible, and even if responding the second you get a message, it will take anywhere from 6 minutes to around 40 to get a reply so they would have to have developed some way of communication that travels faster than the speed of light
