I researched his name on the internet. He is alive and is 28 years old. He graduated from college with a degree in biology. He has been accepted to medical school and is studying to be a physician. ❤😊😊😊

watching this brings me back 32 years, In 1984... at age 6 when I was first diagnosed with childhood brain cancer. I fought it for 9 years with 1 reoccurance and 4 brain surgeries before it was finally "gone". Now my main scars are frequent seizures but I try to live life the fullest. I graduated college, like I wanted to do and am married with two loving children. All I can say is..... Don't give up!

I had a craniotomy to remove a stage 3 glioma brain tumor. Now it's a little over a year later and they do not see any new reoccurrence on the MRI scans. I had oral chemotherapy I think that the IV therapy is what makes people nausea I actually handled it quite well. Surprised my mom and I.

we can't always believe what doctors say, they are not God. 39 years ago I was diagnosed with brain cancer and given 2 weeks to live. 39 years later I am responding to this article. my advice is to trust in God who created us.
@RotisserieiJamie7 жыл бұрын
Then why is there cancer in the first place? You didn't deserve cancer. Nobody does, especially children. You also would be dead without those doctors.... They aren't always right when you may pass, but without them, we wouldn't have the chance. It's a good thing they weren't right, that you had two weeks to live. I rather trust in medical science.

Such a great story and I’m glad I came across it. I was looking for something on DIPG and found this instead. Going through chemo at that age is unimaginable and for most children it only buys them more time. Daniel became cancer free and went into an undergrad/med school program after high school and lived to be cancer free.

Lone Wanderer It is Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma. It is a tumor on the Brain Stem that nobody has ever survived and it is only a 5% chance you will. It makes talking hard, walking hard, eating hard, and thinking hard. It is pretty Rare. My bests friend had it and she died last July 10th. You can do research and find out more I just have been so exposed to the reality of it I know what it is and is like.

I don't get why the lady said "you wont get a bill from St Jude for anything." Their own website says Patients wont get a bill for Food, housing, treatment, and Travel. a doctors visit to an Insurance carrier is not classified as a treatment. therefore TECHNICALLY they should be billed for that. yes I found a nasty loop hole shoot me. I'm sure for every $1 that someone donates, 75% goes to pay the employees. I'm confused. a video posted just the day after this puts Daniel at 18 and graduating HS. how did he age from 12-18 in one day?

Have any possible causes been identified? Are there any present or former industrial sites within miles of his residence? Was he drinking water raw from the tap? If so, it is possible the water well(s) could have sucked up, in the groundwater, a volatile organic compound / chemical known as VINYL CHLORIDE. It causes gliomas.

So watching this makes me proud to donate to St. Judes and also makes me want to share a conversation I had with my girlfriend years ago. I donated a small portion of my paycheck every week to St. Jude and she donated a small portion of her paycheck to an animal rescue center. While I admired her donations to a cause to help animals I asked her how she came to the decision to donate to animals instead of children with cancer and her response was something I will never forget. She said, "If everyone would donate just a little bit then there would be plenty to go around for every cause." I have to admit that this was not the answer I was expecting but immediately made perfect sense to me.

As a Canadian I just have to say this, it just tears me apart that they have to travel to this one particular hospital so they won’t have to pay a medical bill. I lived my entire life, all 49 years of it here in Toronto Canada. The idea of getting a bill in the mail from the hospital or doctor is absurd, and something that I never thought of before until I got sick and started joining online support groups, most of whom were Americans. Suddenly I hear stories of people not just losing their job, but their home and their entire life savings just to pay for their healthcare, that is absolutely insane, especially in a country as wealthy as the United States of America. Healthcare is not a privilege, it is a right, if only your idiot government would stop trying to take over the world through military conquest and put that money towards saving their own people instead, you will be so much better off. And despite what lies you may of heard from FOXNews, there are no huge long wait times for medical procedures, from the ages of 23rd my current 49, I thought 34 operations, and I’ve never had to wait longer than a month, usually I can get in within a week. With all the taxes you pay, you all deserve the same as we have, And I will never understand why your government refuses to help its own citizens, they certainly don’t hesitate taking your money I’m blowing it on the military! What good is having the biggest gun have half your population is dying?

There is lots of free health care. A citizen can always receive treatment and never be denied at any hospital in the U.S. worry about your own country please. I had no heakth insurance and my whole pregnancy I received care. My son was hospitalized for 1 month and all his care was free. My grandmother had stage 4 cancer and no insurance except medicare. She was given 3 months to live and lived almost 4 years after free chemo and radiation

Guess where Michael Buble brought his son when he was diagnosed with liver cancer? To the US. This country has incentives for new treatments and such. It's not perfect but it's better than yours on innovation. When I took my nursing boards in Buffalo, NY I was the only American. The rest were all nurses from Canada who lost their jobs when Canada changed to Government health care.
