Yes he joined your program and got specialized training but he already had a master's in cyber security. No doubt that played a role in the company hiring him. It's scary for someone like myself looking to get into the field with no experience at all. I don't know which way to go and don't wanna waste money on a degree or program and end up not getting a position or earning a lot less than I do now. Especially considering I have a family and the current recession possibility.

I get that taking risks with a family is scary. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take! Employers didnt care that he had a masters in cybersecurity. They wanted him once he specialized. He was taught a skill that has changed his and his families life!

I am in Cybersecurity boot camp right now, but I can tell that getting hired for a job is probably going to be challenging with no experience. Boot camp is teaching me a little about a lot of areas for 24 weeks. Boot camp is definitely not the education that I was seeking.

Start studying 4-6 hours every day. Start with learning about software and hardware that way you will understand the basics to start studying cyber security. I have worked in Technology it's going to take time studying for the exams 4-6 hours a day every day for at least 2 years.

Done!!! I have decades experience in logistics line.. Im equipped with diploma and graduate deiploma in supply chain mgmt only to know my boss isnt from my line and wanted to be sc manager due to status desk bound jobs and zero knowledge never even start from the bottom. I was thinking about pursuing degree in supply chain mgmt but when i looked back,my ideas which helped other previous companies was completely turned down in my current zero knowledge boss but it went up after a year later and other departments thought it was his ideas! Even my peers those were well equipped with knowledge and experience also faced the same issue till i know why people wont share ideas with him but only among ourselves 😂. Made me wanna switch career doesnt matter repetitive because my years in warehouse is repetitive itself😂. So i wont be pursing the degree in supply chain but this line! I dont mind not getting praises,i dont mind learning more either.yes im totally zero knowledge and the college allows me to take the certifications and to masters.

I understand what you are saying about papers and credentials….However, I have to be sure before I spend my hard earned money……there are so many scams out here nowadays. No job guarantees and no money back guarantees…..there are really never any guarantees. Plenty of promises. Skepticism is not a negative thing.

Do some research outside of this KZbin channel and you’ll see the results I’ve helped my clients achieve. 2. I’m featured all over the world and consult with the Fortune 500 companies on cybersecurity strategy. I have book deal with Forbes and my family eats from my reputation. I don’t have time to scam people. 3. The services at my academy are guaranteed. 4. You don’t have to worry about wasting your money because you have to be invited to join the academy. I don’t work with everyone.

Good interview his master degree played a role as well.just curious are we throwing shade at the other tech courses that you can complete in 2 wk or a month and land a job. Building confidence is the key to cybersecurity right. Start at a lower level in IT. Get knowledgeable then take your course.

I got on the same sinking boat, late in age went back to college, BS in Finance and Economics, MBA in 2019. Updating resumes and still no major viable career, WHY? Interviewers are still looking for the skill set and never mind the degrees, kudos u got them but where is the skill set. End results, I felt like I wasted my time and created a student loan debt for 2 pieces of paper that gives me bragging rights ONLY that I have my MBA, but no money to show for it.😔

And entry level positions now days are 2 - 4 yrs experience. But, an I.T. job, some will hire you as a level I helpdesk which pays in the teens, $16, $17 an hour and most are contract 3 months or more only. Then again, you can use that as stepping step, but I would do the BoydClewis Cyber training. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

The next big thing I think is learning about how to protect your personal computer and identity and learning about AI. I'm studying IT security, and I have worked in some form of technology for 35 years, you are young. The key is don't fall into the buy material things. Get your training. Get the role you want and invest in the index companies where you use the products and services every day. Save 20%of every dollar you earn, stay humble and honest
