The reason these guys have such a big appeal and such loving followers is that they provide a breeze of normalcy without being shallow or presumptuous. Some youtubers seem like stuck in childhood, others are overly dramatic and grim, others seem from planet microcephalus etcetera. When “Methan” wants to tackle a serious issue they do so without low blows victimization or aggressiveness, what keeps the positive inertia going. That’s why they are a positive influence, an unintended role model and a message of hope for many in the gay community. This is written without an immature idealization of their characters; they are normal people and can have the same problems as anyone else, no doubt about it.

I think part of the appeal of Mark & Ethan, aside from their best-mates-forever-meets-soul-mates-eternal is how genuine they are. For me, I find their realness infectious. They make me want to be less and less of a fake b*tch. LMAO Some examples: Mark's reaction to the kitty pillow cases and Ethan's subsequent reaction to Mark's reaction - you can't fake that stuff. It just makes you SMILE in spite of yourself. Or the TRUTH OR DARE video where Ethan's sort of out of it, but soldering through for Mark, and the way Mark easily picks up the slack. It's just stuff like that I think shows how much of a team they are and it's awesome to behold in fellow humans. But even saying that, I cannot put my finger on the pulse of Methan's 'x-factor'. It's just a beautiful mystery, and remains something unique unto them.

Ive only skied a few times and took on a bit faster hill (was being trained in copper mountain colorado) and I think I really need to stick with much small hills to get use to my balance and turning Its still fun, kinda ready to do it by myself so I can just quit when I start falling, thats when I know im tired
