Boyle's Law

A demonstration of Boyle's law of gases: The relationship between the pressure of a gas and its volume (for a fixed quantity of gas at a constant temperature.
The tube in the video contains a fixed quantity of gas, the volume of which can be measured against a scale. A for pump is then used to apply pressure to the gas (which can be measured using the needle on the meter), compressing it.
Pause the video to take readings. The results, whilst not perfect, do a good job of illustrating Boyle's law.

0:37 - pressure (p1) is at 17 and Volume (V1) at ~35. 1:40 - pressure is at 34 (p2 = 2p1) and Volume at ~17 (V2 =~ 1/2 V1). pV=nRT and is costant in an isothermal process, right?

PV = constant required the process to be isothermal, although PV = nRT is more general and doesn't.

How did u connect the tube and the scale? Can u explain me the demonstrations based on it? And why was the compass like thing not constant?

The compass thing was a pressure gauge, which measured the pressure of the air in the tube. This pressure was increased using the pump, which compressed the air in the tube.
