I really like the freehand conversions that you do with the miniatures and the dioramas themselves, but what I feel most impressed about is the storytelling with the dioramas. Once you finish your last creation, you will be able to tell a story with miniatures, and that is something I have never seen done. well done.

I have built a lot of plastic models. If you leave the parts on the part trees and clean them with warm to hot soapy water with dawn dish soap in it, it helps to remove the oils that are used to release the plastic from the molds. Just rinse the dish soap off with warm water after wards. I learned this from a model kits build manual, back before there was KZbin.

As for plastic cement, also look for Solvent cement for PVC-U, ABS, MUPVC can get at plumping and building merchant, DIY stores. Use for plumbing. We use spare sprue to check it. Hope that helps, and thanks for the vids as they prove really enjoyable and a good weekend chill and inform to.

i work in a thermoformimg factory. the reason superglue and paints might not be stucking is because of silicone, its sometimes applied to the film role to help keep parts from sticking to eachother/ the machiene. (either pre-applied to the film or sprayed on.) try using some rubbing alcohol and a towel to see if that helps. we do that if we accidentally get the silicone on the wrong side of the part.

I love this series and I think everything turned out great, including the dust clouds. The only thing I personally would've added was maybe a coyote running off to the side in front of the horses. It would explain why the other cowboy has his revolver in the air. He fired off a shot to scare off a coyote thinking they're the apex predator; unbeknownst to him, there's a giant scorpion about to ambush them.

When I was in high school we couldn't afford the official miniatures for our wargaming (Warzone). We had to buy the cheapest Chinese plastic soldiers and convert them with modeling clay (this colorful kind that you bake in the oven to cure), plastic bits from various packaging, and other random bits. I think that was a valuable lesson - that I can create stuff if I want to.
