Totally cool guys! I grew up on Mercer Island! We had our own forests to play in, and life was pretty simple. Two years ago, we sold the family home of 60 years and now I live in Bellevue, just across the lake from MI. As you already know, this is a beautiful place, but it is getting really, really crowded with a TON of construction going on, much of it for new housing. So enjoy it while you can!!

I seriously miss these vlogs. I remember when I watched literally all of Mark's vlogs from the first to the most recent (had to have been 100-150 videos). Countless times Mark and Ethan's vlogs made me smile and laugh. This video made me smile from start to finish. It took me out of my reality for 8 minutes and 43 seconds. Very enlightening personal story Alastair. Don't overthink it, as gay is simply DNA sequencing. Of all the diverse cultures of humanity, this sequence can turn up anywhere and once understood and accepted, it's no big deal. I found out I was gay in my junior year in high school. Then a new family came into the apartment adjacent and they had a son who was my age within 2 weeks and man was he hot! And turns out he was gay also. We were best friends for 3 years and then I got drafted into the Army! I spent 3 celibate years in service, 2 of which were overseas with a few combat engagements. After discharge I honestly believed I wasn't gay anymore for about another year, and then this new wonderful man came into my life and my heart melted. So, you are correct in saying that you can't pray the gay away. It's in your DNA.
