Yes but it’s the gks job to cut off a cutback in his reach. That said, cutback technique is an advanced technique which really, at least in the U.S., doesn’t get introduced til around age 11 or 12.

that goal was definitely his fault you can see that his reaction time is late and he needs to bring his arms all the way out and push the ball away to make shure it doesn’t happen

It’s one mistake. His defense failed to cover the open girl, that took the shot. It was not his fault

You are right it is the goalkeepers job to cut off the cut back. That said: 1. The defender should have tracked back to make sure to cover the attacker and 2. Cutting off cutbacks is a more advanced tactical technique (considered intermediate level). In the U.S. they generally don’t start training that until maybe age 12. Too much else for a gk to learn before then esp since they aren’t capable yet of doing the full cutback technique (which involves throwing yourself across goal). Even then it takes a few years to perfect. A 14 year old academy player does that, sure go ahead and criticize. The one valid thing is a gk this age shouldn’t be talking fault. If it’s not there’s it’s a public criticism of a teammate. And sometimes at this age they just aren’t tall enough or have learned the proper technique or tactics.
