Ref was from everton... 100% a penalty, not even VAR could fuck that up. Great performance and i love the new VEO angle, shows the bigger picture. We have one and they are so useful! Great video as always, can defiantly tell you have improved alot with claiming and punching crosses.

Another excellent performance from you today, Really does show you've been working on the ariel balls, also a superb save onto the bar in the 1st half! I think both Penalty shouts were penalties in fairness but I'm surprised you play without linesmen. even in Sunday league in England we have just a member of each team run the line - not always the fairest but better than relying on the ref for every decision. The possible pen in the end really depends on the line the ref have been giving through out the match. Considering the soft pen the opposition was awarded in the start of the second half, I think it's a clear penalty for your striker. So poor refereeing. But what a performance for the day - a well deserved clean sheet. I'm a keeper myself in the 9th best division in Denmark. These kinds of performances is really what we try to achieve weekend after weekend. Brilliant.

Former travelling ref here. For me, both pens are judgement calls. I do think the right thing to do would've been to award the penalty due to a similar pen being called on the other end earlier in the game. The one major thing I learned about refereeing football without any VAR or linesman, is to just be fair and consistent. If you can do that, even in the harshest games, there is respect for all sides and no side can feel the referee impacted the outcome.

First things first, yeah...that was a penalty from 100 yards away. As an official, whenever I see a blown call I try to think of what could have been going on to cause the miss. I got nothing. He's staring directly at the shove. Now, regarding the disallowed goal. If I am going to disallow a goal in either soccer or hockey, I need to be 100% sure that it's justified. If I have any doubt, I have to let the goal stand. Seeing his position to the play, I can understand his unsurety about the offsides, but not to the extent that it justifies disallowing a goal. If the other team bitches, you simply tell them "yep, it was close but I didn't see definitively that he was offside."
