Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous version. The Temptations would be VERY proud. This wasn't so much a simple cover as Boyz II Men emulating the Temptations and paying homage to their roots. Boyz II Men have always reminded me of the Temptations. Their songs, "Please Don't Go", "On Bended Knee", "I'll Make Love to You" and "End of the Road" all have their sound. I'm thrilled to see that they performed this WHILE doing the dance steps! That's PURE Temptations! :)

Yes, in The UK they along with The Temptations are Icons. Whenever a Boy Band Auditions on The X Factor they always talk about how Boyz To Men influenced them. Also in 2002 on Popstars: The Rivals where a Boy Band and a Girl Group were formed when the "Kids" who were allowed to stay much to their relief were told to sing "One Sweet Day" by Boyz To Men & Mariah Carey. They are also revered in Australia as well.

Only Boyz ll Men would do any justice to this song in this time. The truth is when you listen to this you can't make any comparisons. The temptations are untouchable and their style unique so are the Boyz; not to mention the difference and peculiarity of the two voices (Kendricks and Wanye). You just gotta appreciate the fact that real music is being sung and get to the realization that some songs are just in a bracket by themselves.

Since the temptations, there's been the Jacksons, then New Edition then BoyzIIMen and since BoyzIIMen, there hasn't been a real gifted and talented male group with all round tight vocals. This song however is missing Michael 'Bass' McCary. THe boys really did this song justice.
