Everybody is crazy over Boots, justifiably, but I’m becoming a fan of Bozy too. I can’t stand these trainers (especially the ones who train their sons) who can’t find anything good about any other fighters. You mean everybody’s a bum?!? Bozy usually gives respectful critiques. Ugas have been looking for a dance partner to come to fight for so long, porter the brawler ran from brawling with him, Pacquiao could not, he got punished trying to get in. he has an underrated power, good body shots and sneaky counters that he doesn't get credit for. Bud gonna start Slow against Errol and try to pick it up around round 6 but at that point EJ gonna be in his operation mode and it’s not much u can do. As long as bud doesn’t let EJ bully him in the beginning rounds he should be good and it should be a close fight.

Spence did a great job but from what I seen I got Bud for a 10th round stoppage. Reason is Spence jabs to control distance and Bud controls distance with his feet. Ugas was countering his jab and Spence was reaching with all his weight on the front foot. And Spence made the adjustments to duck after he threw the jab which is what Porter did on the first Bud KD because Bud was countering his jab. Long story short once Bud get the distance down it’s over.

The thing is Spence keeps his left glove up high so hooks land on the glove. Looking at a Crawford match it would be good for Crawford to stay orthodox so that the STRAIGHT right is available. Spence uses his legs and hops backward to avoid those but, from the outside, it's the most effective punch against his defense.

Hey fight fans. I remember watching Ali vs Frazier, Leonard vs Hearns, Hagler vs Hearns, Leonard vs Duran. I watched Mayweather vs Pacquiao & Dela Hoya. Ysm check the replay again. Spence went looking for the mouthpiece before the ref, incorrectly, yelled stop. He didn’t fully recover from that first punch. The 2nd punch, that knocked the mouthpiece, put him in big trouble. The 3rd punch put him on the ropes. Ugas should have been all over him.

I agree with Bozy Ennis. Ugas fought Spence’s fight to his detriment. You can’t be flat footed in the pocket and stay there against Spence. You have to be on your toes, move, force Spence to reset; catch him off angles when he does. But you do need to stand your ground to engage Spence but in spurts. You can’t be on your toes the entire fight which is the rub. If you’re constantly moving, you’ll gas out in the later rounds which could be fatal. Spence is the best pressure fighter in the world; his conditioning is superb, which is why his work-rate is extremely high and unparalleled. Plus, his work rate is very educated. Therefore, if you don’t have heavy hands, one punch thudding KO power, to dissect his pressure, he’ll get you; pressure busts pipes. See e.g., Ugas. Jaron Boots Ennis is the one to beat Spence in my opinion. Crawford, on the other hand, I’m not so sure. Crawford’s age, his lack of one punch KO power, may be his undoing. Plus Crawford isn’t as fluid as Boots is in both Orthodox and Southpaw; he isn’t as big, athletic, strong, as Boots is too.

I said this same thing about Bud before the Ugas and Spence fight. Bud start slow but if you allow him to split round in the first 6 then it’s gone favor Bud. I think Spence gone hurt Bud early cuz Bud chin and ability to take those big shots early is at the most vulnerable early.

Idk after this fight especially the 6th round can spence handle bud combos and strength?Ugas caught errol with some good shots especially those body shots.I feel tge only fighters who can honestly push eachother is the three horsemen Spence,Crawford and Ennis

@@reggiewilliamsel8406 I wanna believe in Ennis but he hasn’t had one tough fight yet, which is a compliment to his skill but I gotta see him in there with a real dog first. I feel you Bud is dangerous I just believe he start to slow. I been telling people for a few years now. After 4-6 it ain’t too many people that will have anything for Bud. I think EJ can get off on him if he start round 1 or two the same way he started round 5 and 7 against Ugas. Which EJ is capable of.
