experiencing a proper Trinidadian steeldrum band in their home panyard feels as though orchestral waves of sound are flowing through one's entire body, coercing one to vibrate and move with the base pans thump and thunder, ones hair can stand with the rising frenetic pitch and peak of the treble pans. The string and rhythm pans pull at ones heart and soul. Definitely top 5 of any music lover's bucket list

21 long years since this band last won a Panorama. Over 20 years! Doesn't make sense that a band that dominated the 80's and 90's could disappear from Panorama so suddenly and for so long. A combination of factors led to their absence but I'm glad Stewart finally punched through that wall and got my favorite band back on top again with a great arrangement. I'm sure Jit is beaming down on them with pride right now. Congratulations Duvone and the Renegades players and organization.

Congratulations to Renegades for a great come back as did Despers a few years ago. I was there for the live performance and continue to listen on youTube . I listened and paid close attention to the performance of the song "Year for Love" by the both band. I tried bests a musician to listen very objectively minus the theatrics and I still hold In my openion that Desperadoes performance and arrangement of the song was (Skyrocketing). It was clearly a first for Desperadoes.

At last, they have their reward as Champions 2018. Slight change to the semi performance which I preferred. Nevertheless, the best large band and unlike the 2016 robbery with 'music outside meh head which was my winner, 2018 will be Devones memorable year with both Large and Medium band Champions.
