Love this collaboration! "Vincent" is such a great song by Don McLean! He originally did it in 1972. What a great remake with Home Free! Rob's voice is perfect for this song. Such a beautiful tribute to the sad life of the painter Vincent Van Gogh. He suffered from depression & committed suicide. He never saw any success during his life. But now his paintings are worth millions of dollars. Home Free also collaborated with Don on "American Pie".

Austin isn't leaving until later this year. He won't be on their Christmas tour. Home Free did do American Pie with Don also, it's on their channel. Don is 78 and will be 79 in October. I'm glad you are feeling better.

Don McLean released this in 1972. He is a master lyricist - "American Pie" is so deep & covered so much American history and "Vincent" is poetry set to music. Home Free is the perfect band to collaborate with him - they're always respectful of other artists and stay true to the artist's vision of the music.

So good. Loved the video with VIncent’s paintings behind them. Then they become a painting too…so beautiful. Don sounds great for 78! Vincent suffered from mental illness and he killed himself. Rob killed it also. Good one BPD. Glad you’re doing better.😍🤩

This is gorgeous. It's impressive that Don invited the boys to back him on the re-release of both of his most iconic songs. Tim has said that this is perhaps the most perfect song ever written. They also back him on the title track for his new album, American Boys. There is an audio-only video on Don's channel. It's a bop.

This is truly phenomenal! What a voice Don McLean still has! Wow. And of course Austin also sang great, but Rob's voice is just perfect for this song. His voice so warm, soft as silk and full of emotion. The quiet background vocals and guitar playing complete it for me. It's the same song as my youth, but with the Home Free twist it's something different. A beautiful song where I, of course, as a Dutch person, know the history of Vincent van Gogh well. If I could, I would have given Don McLean and Home Free a bouquet of sunflowers in memory of Vincent. The sunflower one of his most famous paintings 🌻...... 💖 💖💖💖💖💖

Don released this beautiful song in 1972. He wrote this after reading a biography of Vincent Van Gogh and got an idea to compose a song about him. I think he did an amazing job on it. Home Free and Don McLean are a perfect match. My memory is bad so forgive me but have you reacted to American Pie Home Free ft Don McLean? I’m so glad you are feeling better 😊
